I see they've changed up the packaging since our first review in 2012. The presentation is beautiful, to say the least. Each piece of jewelry is carefully tucked within its own drawstring bag. I'm also fascinated by perfectly wrapped bows. Is there some sort of trick involved?

Included info cards give an overview of how the Rocksbox service works. My stylist, Molly, sent a little note saying that she picked out the Gorjana ring from my wish list. That was nice of them to add a personal touch to the box.

Gorjana Mesa Wave Ring - $55 (Cost to keep: $44)

This is the ring my stylist selected from my wish list. It originally caught my eye because of the graceful basketweave-looking design. It is just as gorgeous in person. I probably would have purchased this if the band hadn't been just a tad too tight. Nonetheless I wore it for a week and it went well with all my outfits.

Kendra Scott Devalyn Necklace in Gold - $90 (Cost to keep: $72)

This is my first Kendra Scott piece, ever! The Kendra Scott rosette logo is very sleek and pretty. The quality and craftsmanship are amazing. Again, it went well with a lot of my chunky sweaters and solid colored shirts. I most certainly would have purchased this if I didn't have similar necklaces already.

You know how gold tone jewelry can vary in shade? It was pretty evident for this one. When I compared the color to the Gorjana ring, I could tell the necklace was lighter and whiter in tone. It's something I keep in mind when trying to pair different jewelries together.

Here's a picture of me wearing the Gorjana ring and Kendra Scott necklace to lunch.

Sophie Harper Pave Circle Necklace - $50 (Cost to keep: $40)

My stylist must really understand my jewelry preference! This is a delicate crystal pave necklace. I adore simple jewelry that adds just a little bling to an outfit. I couldn't get my camera to capture all the pretty crystals, though; they somehow catch all the light in the room no matter the angle.

Here's a photo to show the length of the Sophie Harper necklace. Please excuse the poor lighting, my apartment literally receives no sunlight.

Verdict: Rocksbox is such a unique subscription box! I loved having the opportunity to try designer jewelry that I wouldn't go out and purchase myself. My favorite was the Kendra Scott necklace and I was sad to part with it. Another plus: their website is organized and user-friendly. They also make it very easy (maybe almost too easy...) to purchase any jewelry you fall in love with. There's no pressure to buy anything, but if you do they offer you $10 credit every month along with members-only prices.

Although Rocksbox says that you're allowed to switch out sets as frequently as you want, I noticed that it took a full week in transit to get to me. This may be because Rocksbox is located in California and I'm on the East Coast. Still, this is something to keep in mind since you may be waiting up to two weeks in between each set.
