Pet Pakz is a monthly subscription box for pets. You can opt for a dog box (choose your dog size), a cat box, or a small animal box (select gerbil/hamster or rabbit/guinea pig). You can also combine pet types with higher tier subscriptions (i.e., get a combined cat/rabbit box) and opt for a bimonthly box if monthly is too often for you. This is a review of the cat option.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Pet Pakz (for cats)
The Cost: $28 per month for the bronze level (3-5 items for one type of pet); $39 a month for the silver level (6-8 items for up to two types of pet); $50 a month for the gold level (9+ items for three types of pets); save with longer subscriptions. This review is for the “bronze” level.

Check out lots of great boxes for cats in the Pet Subscription Box Directory and make sure to add Pet Pakz to your subscription list or wishlist!
Because Pet Pakz is customizable and you can select different types of animals, there isn’t a traditional information card. If you have a dog or cat individual or combined subscription, your items will be circled on the card. (Small animal items are not listed on the card.)
Hunter Smart Cat Toy Set (Summer Ladybug and Flower) – Value $5 (?)
These are from Germany (or at least, there’s a lot of German writing on the package). This brand is new to me, which is always nice. (There are a few brands that tend to dominate subscription boxes for cats and dogs.) However, I can only find it for sale overseas so the price is a bit of a guess.
Kong CuteSeas Dolphin – Value $6.50
I didn’t know Kong made cat toys. I’ve tried about every one of their dog toys (a few of which even hold up to the Nyx treatment). This is a little large for a cat toy but Sneaky seems to like wrestling with larger toys so that works.
Multipet Duck Cat Toy – Value $6.50
This makes a “quack, quack, quack” sound when it gets shaken. It definitely got the cats’ interest, though they were a little afraid to get too close…
PureBites Freeze Dried Chicken Breast Cat Treats (0.6 oz) – Value $2.40
I like freeze-dried treats because they have a single ingredient – no fillers, dyes, etc. My cats have had this brand before (different flavor) and they seem to like the texture of these fairly well.
Supercat Catnip Crumples (40 sheets) – Value $5.61
This is something else we’ve received before. They are little sheets of paper with catnip particles on them. When you crumple the paper, the catnip scent is released. These must be fresher than the last ones I got because Monkey was actually pretty interested in these.
And now for the kitties:
Of course you can barely see his face, but I was happy to get a photo of Madison without laser eyes.
Monkey checking out the duck toy.
Sneaky bites the dolphin!
Hey, I’m just happy Mr. Kitty opened his eyes for a picture. (He has eye issues that popped up late last year as a side effect of his IBD medication. Don’t worry, he is being monitored by the vet.)
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $26 for the March Pet Pakz for cats box. That is pretty close to the cost of the box and may actually meet it since I had to estimate one value. The items were hits with my cats and the treats are made in the USA. It is also neat that you can get items for a small animal and/or combine small animal items with dog or cat items. (There have been times in my life when I had a dog, several cats, a guinea pig or rabbit, and a bunch of hamsters, although not lately…)
What do you think of the March Pet Pakz box? Do you subscribe to any dog or cat boxes?
