The theme this month was Hand Lettering.

MS4

Sakura Pigma Micron 03 Black - $3.00

This is a really great fine point pen.  The ink didn't smear, but I did find that it bled through to the other side of the tracing paper that I sampled it on.  I included an image at the bottom with samples of how all of the pens write!

Coptic Wide Markers (1) - $13.98

This marker has a massive tip on it!  I've literally never seen a marker with such a huge tip.  It colors smoothly, and Moustache Stationery says that it works well for coloring backgrounds, and I can absolutely see that!

Prismacolor Premier Chisel/Fine Double Ended Marker (1) - $4.87

This marker flows very consistently, and it writes really nicely!  The color is gorgeous as well.  I like both ends, but I have to say that I would use the finer tip more often.  This is definitely a high end marker!

MS5

Hand Lettering tracing sheets - $10.00?

I couldn't find these on Moustache Stationery's website, nor could I find them online, so I am completely estimating the price.  There are three sheets of each font, which should allow for plenty of practice!

MS6

Here's my try at using all of the markers, pens, and font tracing sheets.  It was quite fun, but as you can tell, I have a lot of practice before I can write beautifully with some of the markers!

MS7

Notebook with Dotted Pages - $7.00?

Notebook with Graph Pages - $7.00?

These are really thick, nice notepads!  There are a lot of pages in each, which again, should allow for quite a bit of time of practice with your handwriting.  If you're not into fancy letter forming, the dot notepad should supply multiple hours of Dots and Boxes!  My favorite thing to do with graph paper is this, so you would get several months out of this pad using just a ruler and a pencil.

Verdict:  Obviously, since I estimated several of the values of this box, my value judgement could be skewed.  I calculate the value right at $45.85, which isn't bad!  I think that if you're the type that would like to subscribe to a stationery box, you would enjoy most of these items, and find a use for them whether you're into hand lettering or not!  All of the products feel very high quality, and I am happy with the value.

I will note that this box is one of those that ships later in the month, so you'll likely receive it in the next month and be charged for your next month's box prior to getting your current month's box.  If that is something that will upset you, definitely consider that prior to subscribing.  If that doesn't matter to you when you're getting fun stationery things, give this box a try!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Oooo! Loving that big highlighter! Not the price though. Ouch!
My hubby got me a set of Prismacolor pencils, I’d love to try their markers next.

This is such a unique box Bekki. Loving the reviews.

Copic wide markers are more like $6-7 each at Dick Blick.

The practice pages look like they went to dafont.com and just printed on trace paper. If you want more options there are TONS of free fonts.
