MISSION CUTE FEB 2016 - info

Every Mission Cute box comes with an informational card detailing that month’s featured items inside and what charity they’re donating to.

MISSION CUTE FEB 2016 - items 1

Sweethearts Candies – value: $0.50

I think this is just a thrown-in bonus item since it’s not on the card – classic Valentine’s appropriate inclusion!

Dive In Deck – value: $20

I’m a little surprised at the value of this deck, but it’s pretty cool! Easily portable, and interesting prompts. Plus, I loooove that each card looks like its own piece of art. Part of me wants to just stick these up on a wall in my office for cool décor.

MISSION CUTE FEB 2016 - items 2

See what I mean? Each card’s design is beautiful, and the prompts are pretty deep/introspective, like “How might you fall more madly, deeply in love with yourself?” and “how would your life change if you forgave yourself?” If you take this to a party, I feel like it would suddenly turn into a therapy circle, haha.

MISSION CUTE FEB 2016 - items 3

Mission Cute Exclusive Print – value: $6

This is a cute print – I have a thing for gemstones and such right now!

Rifle Paper Co Hanging Garden Recipe Cards – value: $12

I know I’m not alone in being a total sucker for anything from Rifle Paper Co.! I tend to cook by finding a recipe for an idea and then just sort of loosely winging it from that, which often ends up in a “Honey, this is delicious, how did you make it?” and I just have to say “uh, I don’t really know. I put some stuff together.” I need to get into a habit of writing down my little original creations!

MISSION CUTE FEB 2016 - items 4

Mission Cute Exclusive Gold Lace Cuff – value: $22

This is a really pretty cuff! I don’t usually go for bracelets or cuffs, but this one fits well and looks really pretty. You can see better photos of it tomorrow.

Mission Cute Heart Muffin Cups – value: $6

These are cute little silicone cupcake holders! Cute for Valentine’s Day treats (though this box did come after Valentine’s Day). I’ve actually been getting more into baking lately (hellooooo breastfeeding cravings!), so these will be fun to try.

Here’s a close up of the bracelet.

And here’s what the bracelet looks like on.

Verdict: I liked this month’s Mission Cute! The value adds up to $66.50 which I’m happy with.

I subbed to Mission Cute during the crate joy sale a few weeks back and even at 50% off I’m kicking myself because my first box (May) is mostly junk. A basil grow pot from the dollar store, a tassel necklace maybe worth $2, a mini bath travel set that’s good for one bath some candy, a cardboard luggage tag, a packet of seeds and a Quote card that was just printed on card stock using Word…not even any art. I guess I will just keep reminding myself that they donate to good causes but even being generous, this box has $9 worth of stuff in it. I wonder if they put the leftover junk in the boxes people like me bought on sale? I’ll try to stay positive and hope it’s a blip. I already sunk $100 into it so hope is all I have.

I really love the cuff and think it’ll look great this summer with a sundress.

I love the little print! I found a beautiful pink quartz that wasn’t shaped or anything at Target last night. It’s so pretty! It’ll make a great paperweight or part of my decor somehow. I’m so psyched and it was just $6 on clearance! I have got to find the print in the swaps…and the cuff!!! I can’t add another box to my list (eeekkk!!!) right now or my hubby will literally freak out so…swaps, here I come!!! 😉 Thank you for the review Haley! You reviews are always awesome!!!
