Fruit Snacks by Horizon Organic – $0.77
These were really good! I was a bit scared to try them after finding this online, but these don’t have DHA, so maybe that’s the biggest factor!
This is definitely not going to be for everyone, but I LOVED it. Perfectly briny and tart!
Who doesn’t love Almond Roca? Even though I’m a well-known nut hater, I always enjoy a good, toffee filled bite of this stuff…as long as I don’t break my teeth.
Lemon Wafer Bites by Dolcetto – $1.39
I am a huge fan of any lemony sweets and these are no exception. As soon as I opened the bag I smelled the lemon – they didn’t skimp on flavor here. These are delicious, and I love how the portion controlled bags keep you from over indulging if you’re mindlessly snacking.
I just tried a blueberry version of this bar a few weeks ago. I really like these! I think I prefer the blueberry, but this one was quite good as well.
This was nice and soft taffy. I hate biting into taffy and then almost losing a tooth. The flavor was great as well!
My husband tried these, since he likes traditional chicharrones. He’s not a fan of weird flavors but he liked these!
These are really delicious. I’ve had them in the past, and I enjoy eating them with dip, or all by themselves. I also love naan, so these were a home run for me!
Verdict: This was my first Love with Food box, and I really enjoyed it! I like that many of the snacks could just be thrown in a lunch pail as an extra treat for the day, and that there is a great variety of savory and sweet. The value comes out to about $7.30, but many of these items in the box are individually packaged and you wouldn’t be able to purchase all of these a la carte for that price. They also included a $10.00 credit for swap.com (which I’ve never seen before, looking forward to checking it out), and a few other coupons. All in all, I think this is a great box!
