JUSTFAB MARCH 16 - items 1

High Low Half Placket Tunic in Indigo – value: $44, VIP price: $34.95

This is the item I picked this month. I’m actually really impressed with this top! The fabric feels great and has nice stretch to it, and I think the design is really flattering. I think I may snag one of these in the off-white color too.

Verdict: I’m really happy with JustFab this month! I love this top and can’t wait to work it into my regular rotation. I’m happy with the value and quality for the price.

let me understand this correctly: the service is $39.95 a month, and they send you one item, and if you like it, it’s $34.95; so you’re paying $74.90 for a $44 dollar blouse? it is a beautiful blouse but? I would want more of a discount if I’m already paying $40.

Wendy, JustFab is not a styling service like Stitch Fix or something where they send you something and you buy it if you like it. JustFab’s model is more like Fabletics and Adore Me… you can buy things from their shop for the normal Retail prices, or you can sign up for their VIP program which basically just puts you at a commitment to order something each month. You shop for the items at the beginning of the month and pick which you order, to keep. This top was $34.95 ($39.90 with tax). If you do not pick something to order, your card gets charged $39.95as store credit that you can spend any time. You do have the option to skip a month and not get charged/order something that month. Does that help?

that makes better money sense! thank you for the detailed response!

I just ordered because I liked a dress. I then called to tell them I didn’t want the monthly plan and they told me I couldn’t cancel if I still wanted my dress. So when they say “cancel anytime” on their website, that’s an absolute lie. I despise false advertising. Buyer beware. I cancelled the entire order since otherwise I would have to remain a “member” and get charged $40/month. I spoke with Raven. FYI.

You can skip any time you want and cancel after the first purchase but not before. I think most companies require you to get your item in order to get the discounted month. You get the discount for signing up for the VIP plan, not just for ordering one item and canceling immediately.

I’m pretty sure if you cancel or skip a month on the 1st-5th you don’t get charged the $39.99. And I’ve never been able to cancel a sub prior to the first shipment and still get the box. Of course, I have only a few subs to reference.

All subscription boxes work that way. You have to wait until your order ships until you can cancel.

That’s not what happened. I asked if I should wait until I get my order and she said they want me to try a month or two of the service before I decide if I want to cancel. It was absolutely in contradiction to what their website says about “cancel anytime”.
