Instaglam Subscription Box Review – February 2016

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Instaglam is a fun clothing and accessories subscription that serves ladies size XS-3X (0 to 24). I am always so excited to discover a new subscription box that includes plus sizes!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Instaglam

The Cost: $56.05 per month with discounts available for longer commitments

The Products: One top and five accessories every month

Ships to: US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK

Check out the Women’s Subscription Box Directory and make sure to add Instaglam to your subscription list or wishlist!

Note: None of the items in this box are available for sale in their shop, so it is not possible to provide individual retail values.

Instaglam didn’t include a detailed info card, but they did send this social media card (top), plus a note about their return / exchange policy (bottom). Short version: they accept returns (for credit) and exchanges!

Instaglam sends subscribers a short quiz every month which basically asks two things. First, they give you a choice of two different tops to choose from. This was my choice, and I love it! They also ask whether you want gold jewelry, silver jewelry, or surprise. I always pick surprise. This is a short sleeve dolman cotton-blend top, and it’s very flattering on! I can already tell I will get a lot of use out of this!

This multi-strand necklace and earring set is super shiny! I will definitely wear the earrings, but I’m not sure I can pull the necklace off.

I love the color of the earrings on the left! Even though they are not completely my style, I think I will still try them out. The earrings on the right are very cute, and everybody loves seahorses, but unfortunately they are not my style.

This bracelet is really cool! It’s super shiny, and I love the Celtic knot (if that’s what it is – I’m not an expert on Celtic things). I also like that it has a clasp and is not just a regular bangle. I have huge hands. This is great!

Verdict: I really liked my first box from Instaglam! As much as I love surprises, I like that they gave me a choice in tops, and this one really works for me. The jewelry is not very high quality, but I will still wear three or four of the five pieces they sent. It’s hard to comment on value since there were no values listed, and the pieces aren’t for sale in their online shop. I think it’s one of those boxes that you just have to ask yourself if you think what you received is worth what you paid. My answer for this box is a definite yes!

What do you think of Instaglam? Did you receive the same jewelry?

  1. Never heard of this box before! I like that it has the same offerings for plus size alongside the “normal” sizes. Putting it on my watch list!

  2. I glanced at the title too quickly and thought this was an Instagram Subscription Box! Which sounds pretty awesome, Instagram…

  3. I would probably subscribe to this, if it was a top, another item ( not jewelry), and if you could opt out of earnings( I can only wear clip on earings)

    • I emailed them and was able to opt out of bracelets last month. The customer service was fantastic.

  4. I really like that top! Its something I could see myself wearing all the time! I’d buy a couple in every color possible if I could 🙂
    what brand is it?

  5. That Celtic-type bracelet looks like the symbol from the TV show Charmed! (The power of 3! Love it)

    • I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this! Literally my first thought when I saw it!

    • It’s called a Triquetra or Trinity Knot. It is Celtic and was a common symbol used to represent a triad/Trinity. It was later adopted by Christians to represent the Holy Trinity.
