Daryl Dixon Shirt – Value $10?

This month’s exclusive shirt features everyone’s favorite survivor, Daryl Dixon. This is a callout to his jacket on the show, with the arrow through the skull to drive home the fact that it’s all about Daryl! Cool shirt!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon February 2016 - zombie egg and finger bottle stopper

Zombie Egg Cup – Value $16.99 on Amazon

This is a fun item that I’ve never seen before! They seem to be available in the UK, but not widely available in the US. This includes a zombie head to place an egg in, a shovel spoon to break open the egg, and a toaster cutter to make your arsenal of bread weapons!

Severed Finger Wine Stopper – Value $5-10?

This wine stopper is an exclusive this month. They’ve been sending out wine stoppers across the different blocks this year – this one features a severed finger!

The Chopping Block Playing Cards – Value $5-10?

Another exclusive this month is a set of playing cards featuring some of the best horror icons around.

I had to highlight my favorite, Pennywise! Some of the other icons include Hannibal Lector, Carrie, Michael Myers, Jason, and Freddy just to name a few! These might be my favorite playing cards yet.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon February 2016 - rue morgue

Rue Morgue – Value $9.95

This month returns to the normal Rue Morgue issue, as well.

Verdict: I had fun unboxing this month’s Horror Block! In my opinion, they’ve been better with their blocks in 2016. They are also moving towards mostly exclusive items, like Loot Crate, but I think they will need to start expanding their exclusive items soon – which is exciting!

What did you think of the February Horror Block?

  1. another great month from horror block.

  2. I was very disappointed with this block. I like the shirt, the magazine and the playing cards but will never use the bottle opener, wine stopper or the stupid egg thing. Very disappointed lately. I have been a member since last fall and the box value is significantly decreasing. This month’s novelty items are stuff I would find at a cheap discount store that I would not purchase anyway. The egg thing is as stupid as the baby doll head a couple of months back. Please get better so I don’t feel the need to cancel. Loot Crate has really been bringing the quality in their boxes and its a third less cost.

  3. lots of other boxs out there had dome walking dead stuff from Mcfarlane , they couldnt 3ven included a smalo blind bag . honestly to satisfy my toy hunger i went and bo7ght me the daryl bike building set

  4. this was my first block ever , and i was disapointed , if you compare this boock with their other blocks they dont put the same geek factor in it barely any film or tv collectibles and dont get why the horror blick is the only one with a magazine every month , really not sure i will renew my s7bsrciption after my 3 month , m8ght switch to boxy chan even if its more expensive

  5. I think the reason wine stoppers are popular in subscription boxes lately is because apparently in 2015 millennials were responsible for drinking half of all the wine consumed in the USA which is about 163 million cases total…

  6. When you say exclusive does that mean I wouldn’t be able to buy it in store? I live five minutes from where the store that they’re sent from.

    • They always have overstock. They had those titan ghostbuster vinyl cars that were “exclusive,” and I found them at Barnes & Noble with the “nerd block exclusive” stickers on them.

    • Good to know! I’m, typically, just going by it being marked as exclusive on the card.

  7. Yikes, I didn’t get it this month and I wish I did.

  8. What a cool box!!

  9. Of course, the month I decide to end my subscription is when they finally send some stuff I’d like.
