The packaging on this box is really top notch – I love the wood-look box!  Their website has other month’s box contents, and it looks like the value is recently consistently over $70.00.  If you’re curious about the contents of previous month’s boxes, I would recommend taking a peek at the slider on the bottom of their website.

One thing to note, and I’m assuming it is because I received a review box, is that I didn’t get the monthly edition of GQ that is usually included.  So that is an additional value that you won’t see in my review.

The Gentleman’s Box includes a small glossy pamphlet with all of the items you receive in the box detailed, as well as a profile of a featured member.  This month the theme is “Our Favorite Captain.”

Knots Apparel – the Shipyard Pocket Square – $26.00

This item alone is higher than the cost of the box – that’s awesome for a $25.00 box!  We consistently love the items that we receive in this box.  This pocket square is a great size, and is a great print for spring and summer!

Woodchuck USA Wooden Collar Stays – $30.00

I couldn’t find these collar stays on the Woodchuck website, so I’m listing the value that Gentleman’s Box gave them in the pamphlet.  There are three sizes of collar stays included:  the cut away, the English spread, and the classic.  The cut away stays are obviously the shortest, then the English spread, and then the classic.  My husband prefers cut away and spread collars, so I’m sure those will be used the most!  These are really well made, and for every item Woodchuck USA sells, they plant a tree – which is awesome.

Billy Jealousy After Shave Balm – $4.16

This wasn’t assigned a value in the information booklet, so I’m assuming it’s an extra thrown in.  This after shave balm smells amazing!  It’s won a few awards for being the best aftershave.  I used it a little on my legs, and I really liked it!  It’s very cooling.

Unsimply Stitched – Mixed Stripe Socks – $12.00

These socks look like they’re really high quality.  The toe seam lies flat, instead of having a thick seam across the toe.  They’re 80% cotton, 17% polyamide, and 3% elastane.  The colors are vibrant, and the fabric is really nice.

Air Force Aviator Sunglasses – $15.00

These are decent sunglasses for the price.  Before I saw the style, I thought “I’m totally stealing the sunglasses before the husband sees them,” but aviators are the one style that looks terrible on me!  Lucky him.  It looks like there were a few variations sent out:  black, gunmetal, gold, copper, and bronze.  I received the black.  They recommend pairing them with grey and blue pieces for a ‘sleek look.’

Verdict:  This box has a value of about $87.16, which is awesome for a $25.00 box.  Even while some of the values could be inflated a bit, I absolutely think all of the items in the box are a steal for $25.00.  This is one of the best men’s boxes I’ve seen as far as value and style goes!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
