ESALON MATCH UP MARCH 2016 - items 1

Heart Lock It Color Safe Shampoo – 8.5 oz, value: $15

Love Unconditionally Color Safe Conditioner – 8.5 oz, value: $15

This is the shampoo and conditioner I’ve been sent in my custom color kits. I love the way they smell, and they feel really hydrating, too. I like them! They also just changed up the packaging a bit and the pumps are much easier to use compared to the shampoo/conditioner set I’ve tried before.

Tinted Love Color Enhancing Treatment – 4 oz, value: $15

This product acts as like a “boost” to temporarily intensify and enhance hair color. I ordered the red copper to try, but I think I want to try the golden copper. When picking colored items like this, it’s really important to pay attention on eSalon’s product page to the shades that are recommended for you based on your custom color formula. I had golden, golden copper, and red copper recommended for me. I think having the golden copper will really help add back some warmth to my color after it fades a bit (or to help keep it from fading much), or to maybe help my roots be a little less noticeable when they grow in. (They’re not super noticeable, but they’re just not as warm-toned as the color I have now is.) You use it 1-2 times a week.

Verdict: I’m happy with this month’s match-up. I really like their products and I feel like they have a nice variety of products available that I can trust to be color-safe. Plus, their customer service is really great so if I have any issues or am not satisfied with an item I know I can trust them to help me out. The value I got out of this month was a total of $45, and I’m good with that!

I’ll take the red copper gloss if you aren’t going to use it, I’ve been eyeing it up and wasn’t sure if it was worth it.

Might you be willing to post an after photo for after you use the Tinted Love product (if you end up using it). I’ve only really tried similar products by Jon Frieda, which didn’t really deposit any color at all.
