ZChest Subscription Box Review + Coupon – February 2016

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

ZChest is a subscription box filled with Zombie goodies. They send out items like zombie-related toys, shirts, and collectibles – and even items to help you prep if there ever is a zombie apocalypse.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: ZChest

The Cost: $16.99 + Shipping (our shipping cost was $9.10)

COUPON: Use coupon code WELIV and save 5% off your first box.

Ships to: Worldwide

The Products: Zombie products such as: toys, collectibles, movies, music, posters, hats, socks, shirts, and a slew of what ever we can uncover in the graveyard (BRAINZ!?!)

The box comes with an info sheet. This month was ‘Bloody Lovely’. Unlike last month’s Zombie prep box, this was more along the lines of toys/collectibles.

Zombie Love Shirt – Value $10?

Here is this month’s exclusive print. One thing I should mention, when we washed last month’s shirt, the print/decal came right off leaving us with just a blank shirt. We’ll see if this one holds up, or if that’s a one-off.

Mr. Darcy POP – Value $10.99 on Amazon

We got a POP this month! This one is from the recent movie Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. While I’m not a fan or the book or movie, I like getting POPs because they’re great to include in giveaways!

Here’s a look at the detail of the POP.

Mini Poster – Value $5?

This is a 17×11 glossy print to go along with your POP.

Gore Hat – Value $15-20?

Next up is this colorful hat. I’m not really sure if the characters are from anything, in particular, the card doesn’t really describe that, but apparently every hat is different- so that’s cool. It’s a one size fits all hat, with the old-school size adjuster in the back.

Inflatable Axe – Value $2-3?

I can’t lie, I’ve had fun chasing Liz with this inflatable axe in my Stovington Eagles shirt!

Zombie Bear – Value $1.99

They include this little zombie bear, which is just about the perfect size for my dog, so I’m sure he’ll have it soon.

Syringe Pen – Value $0.40-0.50 on Amazon

I found a 12-pack for about $4.25, so I’m basing my value off of that. It’s a fun design for a pen, and I can always use more pens, so this will go to use.

Verdict: ZChest definitely included some really fun items this month. I’m always happy to get a POP, either for myself or future giveaway. I do worry about the quality of their shirt, though – which would consistently take away a chunk of value if they all got ruined in the wash. Overall it was a pretty good box, but I think that this may not suit my interests the best.

What did you think of the February ZChest?

  1. Is that hat an exclusive to the box? My 6 and 7 year olds are are dying for it!

    • I’m really not sure. It seems like it might be, although it’s not noted as exclusive in the book, but nothing is. I also was unable to find it online.

  2. I would have loved to see you chase Liz around with the axe! (Sorry Liz! ?)

We all need a break from the regular grind every now and then.

    Makeup: ?
    Torture Devices: ?

    • Haha!!

  3. I’m not sure how many of your readers would be super excited to see POOPs in giveaways!! 😀 😀

Seriously though, the t-shirt thing is odd. Did you contact them about it?

    • O man – what a typo! 🙂 Fixed!

  4. Ummm maybe you could put the hat in the wash too? (Sorry)
