TMNT Box Subscription Box Review February 2016 - box

TMNT Box is a box dedicated to your favorite teenage turtles! It’s packed with TMNT toys, collectibles, and clothing!

When you start your subscription, you can choose ‘Classic TMNT’, which focuses on the Turtles that I grew up with from the late 80’s/early 90’s. Or, ‘Combo Box’, which includes items from the new-school TMNT and the classic TMNT.

This is a review of the Classic TMNT Box.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This box did not come with an info card for the items. I did like the box design – but I kept thinking, how cool would it have been to design the box like you’re opening a pizza box, with a pizza graphic inside!

TMNT Box Subscription Box Review February 2016 - shirt front

Leonardo Shirt – Value $20

I couldn’t find this exact shirt, but I found the Raphael version on the brand’s website, so I’m using that for value. I LOVE this shirt! I was a little giddy when opening this box. This is a high quality, thick, shirt as well.

TMNT Box Subscription Box Review February 2016 - dorbz

Raphael Dorbz – Value $9.98 on Amazon

Next up is a Raphael Dorbz vinyl figure! This is a new one for my collection, and it’s Funko, so you know I’m excited!

TMNT Box Subscription Box Review February 2016 - pez and pocket pop

Leonardo Pez Dispenser – Value $8.99 on Amazon

They included a Pez Dispenser. The only reason I was surprised to see this was because I had selected ‘Classic TMNT’ and this is the new, Nickolodean, character model. Not a huge deal for me, though, but worth noting.

Michaelangelo Pocket POP – Value $6.36 on Amazon

Another Funko item, and it’s a Pocket POP – that’s a big win for me! Growing up, Michaelangelo was my favorite, so he still holds a place in my TMNT fandom!

Verdict: I had a lot of fun with my first TMNT Box!  The value comes to about $46, which is great for a $25 box. I was a big-time TMNT when I was little, and the IDW line of comics has certainly sparked my love for them once again – so I was more than excited to try this box. So far, I like it a lot and I’m already excited for my next shipment!

  1. I just saw that shirt at Walmart today. For adults and kids.

  2. Wish they would do something like this for My Little Pony! My daughter would be obsessed

  3. I definitely think they should use your idea for a pizza box!

  4. I had this subscription for 6 months…it was very disappointing, kinda got the same things over and over…had several repeat of the same items (glow sticks and pez dispensers, mostly) and not to mention their customer service stunk…. I contacted them several times about with no response or no change in what I asked…love the turtles but the box just missed the mark

    • That’s good to know. Think I’ll pass for now.

  5. Cute box! I gripe when boxes charge for shipping but this still seems to be reasonably priced for the items!

  6. Oh man, I wish I had known this sub existed in time to get February’s box! Excited to get the March one for my TMNT fan!
