Every month, this company chooses a charity to share in the proceeds from each box, and this month the charity was World Vision's Food and Nutrition sector to provide meals to Indian school children.  One of World Vision's goals is to eliminate child malnutrition in our lifetime.

Eat Feed Love always packages their boxes with extreme care.  This month, there were a lot of packing materials to cushion the glass items and each glass item was individually wrapped.  I appreciate the attention they dedicate to ensuring each box arrives safely!

EFL4

Chado Loose Leaf Reena's Chai tea blend - $7.18

Eat Feed Love always includes several recipe cards in their boxes, and this month they included a recipe card for a chai tea latte!  Chai is one of my favorite tea blends, and this is a great blend.  The remainder of this will definitely be savored.

Valrhona Le Noir 56% Dark Chocolate Tasting Stick - $2.49

I linked to the milk chocolate tasting bar of the same size, because I didn't find the Le Noir bar on Eat Feed Love's site, or the Valrhona site.  I believe I've seen this version at my local Trader Joe's!  I think it's well documented that I love Valrhona chocolate!  This variety was no different - just as high quality and just as great taste!

EFL5

Spice Station Mild Curry Powder - $2.50?

This is a really great mild curry powder.  I know the flavor can sometimes be polarizing, but I love a good curry, and this is going to be put to great use in my house.

Spice Station Garam Masala - $2.50

I have a few Garam Masalas at the moment.  From my understanding (I know a small amount about Indian cuisine, and I'm always willing to learn more!) there are many different blends of garam masala.  In my experience, they are all great, and you can even make your own blend to focus more heavily on the spices you like.  This one is really nicely balanced!  None of the spices seem to overtake the whole flavor.

Spice Station Cumin Seed - $2.00

Ground cumin is another ingredient that I use often in my cooking - but I've not often used the whole seed.  A few months ago I made some harissa, and it called for toasted cumin seeds, so that was my first experience.  This month Eat Feed Love included a recipe for cumin scented lemongrass mint rice, so I will be using it in that for sure.  All of the spices I received seemed to be very fresh!

EFL6

Bluff Cove Organic Persian Lime Olive Oil - $16.95

This olive oil is really good.  I can see it being perfect for the recipes they included for it: cumin scented lemongrass mint rice, quick chicken tikka masala, Persian lime stove top naan bread, and the pumpkin cauliflower curry - as well as many other recipes that call for lime!

Note:  This is the second Persian Lime Olive Oil I've received from Eat Feed Love.  In November I received my first one, from Olive the Senses - so they are different brands, just the same flavor.  Personally, I can never have too many fancy olive oils and vinegars, so this is not a big issue to me.  To someone else, it might be, so that's why I am mentioning it!

Bluff Cove Lemongrass Mint White Balsamic Vinegar - $16.95

This balsamic is excellent.  The flavor is light and not overpowering, so it would pair well with so many flavored oils!  Several of the recipe cards this month included this as well, so it gives me a starting point on how to use the flavor in my cooking!

EFL7

Maya Kaimal Goan Coconut Simmer Sauce - Medium - $7.09

I think this was a nice inclusion in the box.  Pre-made simmer sauces make for a really easy dinner and this one was great.  I generally make two versions - chicken for my husband, and yam or chickpea for myself.  Thankfully this bottle had enough for me to split between the two, and it was delicious!  I am going to be checking out the rest of this brand's sauces for sure.

Verdict:  When I opened this box and saw that it had an Indian cuisine theme, I got excited.  I love Indian food, and even more, I love learning how to make it!  In the past the recipes have centered around the themes, but they didn't always include the ingredients sent in the box.  I really like that they included recipes for all of the separate spices, oils, and vinegars.  I calculated the value of this box as $57.67.  Much of the value each month that I have received this box has come from the oils and vinegars.  Again, I love these, so it is perfect for me but it might not be for you, so I would keep that in mind if you're considering subscribing.  Eat Feed Love generally sticks to their theme quite well, and I found that to be true for this box.  The chocolate seemed a little more random, but it's always appreciated!

What do you think of The Taste Club by Eat Feed Love this month?  I'm really enjoying this subscription!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I still haven’t received my January box and I can’t get a clear answer from them on where it is.

I LOVED this box so much. I made the Chai tea latte from the recipe on the day of the blizzard last week and it was amazing (never new maple syrup was a component) I have made at least 2 more cups. I am looking so forward to making the Chicken Tika masala recipe. I also got a mint infused olive oil that I cant wait to eat with a nice piece of lamb. This is only my second box, but I am loving it so far!

Oh mint olive oil sounds amazing!

I agree, the chai was great. I had some this morning with some cream and sugar – perfect way to wake up!
