TEA BOX EXPRESS FEB 2016 - items 1

Corso’s Cookies Heart Shortbread Cookie – value: $7.99

Oh, my goodness. This cookie was amazing. It didn’t even make it completely through the photo taking. It had amazing texture and the frosting was so sweet and flavorful. It reminded me of those fluffy Lofthouse sugar cookies you can buy at the store. I will dream of a thousand of these cookies tonight.

Nunu Chocolates Ganache Assortment – value: $8

I’m thrilled to have 2 treats that I’m going to be dreaming about for days this month. This ganache truffle assortment was also incredible.

TEA BOX EXPRESS FEB 2016 - items 2

I got a raspberry, double dark, earl grey, and espresso.

TEA BOX EXPRESS FEB 2016 - items 3

LOOK at how cute these are! The espresso one is a little espresso cup! You can see my husband snagged the raspberry one too quickly for it to make it to this photo. I loved all of these. I wasn’t sure I’d dig the earl grey one, but I absolutely did.

TEA BOX EXPRESS FEB 2016 - items 4

Southampton 1 Cup of Perfect Tea Measuring Spoon – value: $7.50

Paper Tea Filters - ~20 ct, value: $1.40

This is cute! I actually think I really like this method of spooning + using disposable paper tea filters much better than the usual loose leaf infusers. Probably because less clean up, maybe?

TEA BOX EXPRESS FEB 2016 - items 5

Tea Tease Berry Me in Kisses – 25g?, value: $5

Tea Tease Chai Love You – 25g?, value: $5

I’m excited about both of these teas. I really like fruity teas and chai so these will definitely get used. Also, how cute is this brand/marketing? Perfect for Valentine’s!

Verdict: I love this sub. The value for this month’s Tea Box Express adds up to $34.99, which is a pretty good value for this box, so I’m happy – especially because I am thrilled with everything! I think that this box tends to be more about curation and discovery than a huge value, so if you’re considering this sub, just keep that in mind. I definitely will be adding the treats in this box to my “sub box treats discovery wish list!”

That should be a good cookie for $8! Holy smokes!

Does anyone else get completely turned off by a sub because they charge shipping? This is a cute box, but I’m not biting because of the shipping charge!

Eight dollars for a shortbread cookie??? Where do I sign up to make a 50-cent product and mark it up 1,600%? Cool!

I know, right? Some boxes have items so ridiculously inflated that all I can do is shake my head and snort.

Tea Box Express doesn’t list values on their info card, so they didn’t inflate the value – I got the value from what they actually sell for from the vendor! Julia has a good idea! ;]
