Each box comes with an info card and a Target coupon good for $3 off a beauty purchase of $15 or more. (Tip thanks to MSA readers – save these to use on future Target Beauty Boxes!)

L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Air-Blown Texture Mist – FULL SIZE! Value $4

This spray is designed to give texture and volume to your roots without any stickiness or crunchy hair. I like the scent and the formula is lightweight – I can confirm no stickiness! I didn’t get a lot of lift with my hair though – the effect was very subtle.

SoapBox Coconut Shampoo – 2 oz Value $.75

SoapBox Coconut Conditioner – 2 oz Value $.75

Yay! I love the SoapBox brand! For every bottle sold, a month’s supply of clean water is given to a community in need. I’ve sampled their soap before, but this coconut shampoo is new. I tried it out last night and I’m a fan. The coconut scent is lovely, and I like that the formula is sulfate and paraben free too!

Mayfair Soap Foundry sea lily jasmine body crème – 1 oz Value $1.60

This brand is new to me. The formula is paraben and phthalate free, not tested on animals, and made in the US! The lotion absorbs quickly, and the scent is a sweet, floral one. I’m not sure if this fragrance is a good fit for me, but it may be growing on me!

Skinfix Lip Repair Balm – Value $5

SkinFix is one of my favorite drugstore beauty brands! (Their hand cream is the best!) This lip balm is super moisturizing and gives a little sheen – I love it!

Incoco Nail Polish Applique in Second Nature – Value $5

These are nail polish strips that are made with 100% nail polish so they perform better than nail stickers, and you can remove them with nail polish remover. I love the shade I received. This is a great neutral color for me:

Laneige BB Cushion – Value $6.80 (Or $2.27 if you only count the shade that works for you).

This sample includes three different shades:

Light, Medium, and Medium Dark. I love that they send out a sample that works for more than one skin tone! Here are the sample BB Cushions:

This formula provides a good amount of coverage while still looking like you aren’t wearing makeup – I love that aspect of it. My only gripe is that the formula has a perfumed scent, but that fades pretty quickly.

EcoTools EcoNet Recycled Bath Sponge – Value $2

Target sends these out pretty frequently – which is a good thing because I really don’t see bath sponges in other subscription boxes!

Vera Wang Floral Eau De Toilette – 1.2 ml Value $1

Normally I complain about perfume samples in beauty boxes, but Target gets a free pass from me! I can’t complain about a $7 box with multiple full-size items!

Derma E Hydrating Night Cream – .5 oz Value $7.40

This isn’t a new discovery for me, but I love this cream. The formula is very moisturizing but still pretty light weight. The only thing I’d change is to make it fragrance-free.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $34 – amazing for a $7 box! Plus, just about everything in this box works great for me – I just love Target Beauty Boxes!

  1. The items on the Target Website for the Beauty Box have changed. Even though it says sold out, I’m assuming that the next box is coming out very soon!! Yay!!!!

  2. I love trying different products and this Target BB is one of the best for me. The best deal available to satisfy my makeup, skin and hair care, and polish trials PLUS a $3 coupon. Can’t beat that with a stick.

  3. I was very happy with box I always miss it but thanks to my subscription addiction I was able to get one so thanks

  4. I got 4 boxes – to gift or donate some of the items – and they all have the plain/peach/nude polish and they all have full size “bathery” pouf sponges, not the ecotools. This box is still a good deal but since we just got the Laneige makeup samples last month, and surprisingly, the Skinfix lip balm has petrolatum, this is not the best box I’ve received from then but for $7 I can’t complain!

  5. Maybe this is my subscription box addiction analysis, lol, but people who received nail wrap with design also received mini bath sponge? The nail wrap with designs are $2 more expensive than single-color ones, so maybe they are making the total value fair to everyone. Anyway, I am happy with my box 🙂

    • I received a nail wrap with a design and a large bath sponge.

      • I also received the nail wraps with a design and got the same bath sponge (in green) as Liz did.

  6. Had a rough day today, so I was so happy to see my target bb sitting on the table. Wasn’t sure about the samples when I ordered, but loved them in person. A much needed treat to myself.

  7. I received my Target Box a couple of days ago. Luv it Totally!! Coconut is my Fav for hair skincare etc!!
The Nail item is a Beautiful Silver.. Bright Pink… Blue mix!! Luv the Skin fix the Lotion etc. I have wanted to try the BB Cushion… but wasn’t sure for color and now I can find out!!! Can hardly wait for the next one! I get 3 other Sub Boxes… Ipsy.. Birchbox… BoxyCharm. Of those 3 BoxyCharm is my Fav!!

  8. I LOVE this box! This was the first Target BB that I actually caught on time. I got the Paparazzi nail wraps (dark pink and Siver glitter ombré-love it). The only bad thing was that the perfume was missing 🙁 the little card was there but there was no ampule. I’m very happy I got the face cream; I received some in another box and that’s almost gone so now I can put off buying more, lol!

    • Wow! I sent Target an email just letting them know about the missing perfume vial, I wasn’t asking or expecting anything, I was informing them so they can make sure to check the cards before packing the boxes in the future. Well, they wrote back within the hour and told me they would send me a $3 coupon, I said that’s great! 20 minutes later I got another email saying they would just credit my account back $3-which is even better to me, and sure enough, there’s a $3.27 pending deposit in my account 🙂 that’s what I call great customer service!

      • My box was also missing the perfume sample, maybe I’ll send them an email too.

      • My perfume vial was about half empty and the shampoo had leaked all over the box. I called in to ask for another shampoo and perfume ONLY – they ended up sending me a whole new box and gave me a $5 gift card. Target knows how to take care of their customers! If you have a problem, I definitely recommend contacting them.

  9. I must be the only one hating this box. My sponge is an ugly blue green and smells like old spoiled makeup that has been sitting under the sink for a few years! My nails wraps are a confetti type print the same color as the sponge. The bb cream came in last months box. Kind of miss the hair ties!

  10. Love, love, LOVE my box. Target is crushing these boxes, I can’t wait for the next one!

  11. Got my box today! I got grey/blue-ish mini sponge. My nail color is called Paparazzi (I had to look it up, maybe written inside the package?) which is silver and pink glittery ombre design. I will save it for my spring vacation. I will save the sponge for house guests as I usually use cotton clothes because I don’t like the feel of nylon on my skin. The hair spray will be gifted to my sister in law who’s hair is fine and always looking to try new products. The rest will be used up.

  12. I absolutely love everything in my box. Whoever picks these products out to send to us, got me hook, line and sinker. I hope I never miss another one. Thank you so much Target Beauty Box. You have won a repeat customer for sure. 🙂

  13. I got the nail wraps in Brilliant Burst if anyone wants to trade. Looking for a solid color–pretty much any color will do (neutral, coral/pink, etc).

    • I got a coral color – no idea which one because I couldn’t find a name on it and I just looked at their site and they have about a thousand different varieties of bright prink- but I’d definitely trade you for Brilliant Burst.

      • Awesome! Let’s do it! What’s your email?

        • Oh now it’s showing up. And I can’t delete my own comment. Jeez. 😛

        • I’m getting the feeling you can’t seem any of my comments, even without my email. But if you can, can you send me your email? Or try ari sale items @ gmail .com without any spaces?

          • Hey I just sent an email! Let me know if you got it! 🙂

      • Ariela, do you still want to trade?

        • Yes I do. I’ve posted my email twice now, because the comments weren’t displaying the first time and I thought I hadn’t posted it. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong…

    • Are you not able to see my other comments? The ones that I’ve posted my email in are not showing up and I don’t know why. It’s making me think I’m crazy.

  14. When do these usually go on sale? I signed up for the alerts but never recieved an email to let me know they went on sale 🙁

    • Hi Kristina,

I just checked our email records and the Target Beauty Box alert went to your email address on Feb 1st. Maybe check your spam folder to see if it went there? Also, it might help to add to your contacts list. The title of the email was, “New Target Beauty Box News On My Subscription Addiction!”

      Hope that helps!

  15. I love and will use almost everything in this box, except probably the nail wraps since I bite my nails. Those I will probably give to a friend. Mine were a cool, funky print and I can think of a few friends that would like to try something like that! I am most excited for the hair products and the BB cream. I like that it comes in a few shades. I am very pale right now and will use the light one. As the summer comes into full swing I will probably progress to trying the darker colors. For shampoo and conditioner, these look like great travel sizes; however, I like to alternate different lines with my regular line. Somehow this seems to make it work better and avoid build up from one product on the hair. So I probably won’t be able to resist breaking them out since I don’t have any big trips planned. I like the perfume, sweet but not overwhelming. I am not normally a big lip balm or hand cream user but these products are making me want to try and look like nice products to have on hand in your purse. I have tons of night creams and skin products so this one, despite its good reviews, will get shelved for now until I run out of the others. Overall, I think this box was an awesome value for only $7 with free shipping (and a $3 bonus coupon)!

  16. I was hoping for the nail wraps with a print/design but I just got the one that’s sort of a solid coral/peachy pink color. Kind of ugly… My shower sponge was also an ugly green. Oh well. I’ll still use it, think the box overall was a good deal.

I bought 10% discounted Target gift cards before Xmas so that saved me a little money…

  17. Unfortunately, the cap to the shampoo bottle was unscrewed, so everything was sticky in my box. Luckily most were saved with a wipe-down. Just annoying.

    • The shampoo was all over everything in my box too!

    • I called on 2 boxes that had that and they simply refunded both of them in about 2 minutes and you don’t have to return anything.

  18. I got the same nail wraps as Liz and like them because I try to keep my nails relatively quiet for professional reasons. Even if I didn’t, that’s an easy swap because they can probably be mailed in an envelope with a regular first class stamp.

I tried the lip balm last night right before bed, which I really liked because my lips were super soft in the morning. It’s not goopy like some of the more Vaseline-y ones, but it’s not blah like regular Chapstick. It’s like the Goldilocks of lip balm.

I haven’t used the night creme or body creme yet, but I did use the bath sponge in the shower this morning. It’s exactly what you’d expect: not exciting. However I needed a new one, so I was happy to get it. I don’t blow out my hair that often, so I’m sure I’ll use the blowout spray, just not right away. I still have the Laneige BB cushion from last month’s box that I haven’t used yet.

Otherwise, I tried the Vera Wang fragrance and liked it, but I hate eau de toilette because it doesn’t last. I sprayed it on my arm to test the fragrance, and less than two hours later I smelled the spot on my arm where I had sprayed it and couldn’t smell any fragrance at all. I probably would have bought a full-size bottle it if it were eau de parfum.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner this morning. My hair isn’t overly dry, but I feel like the shampoo made my hair crispy, and the conditioner did nothing to help. I combed through my hair while rinsing the conditioner, and my hair felt kinky. (I have fine but wavy hair – I think curl type 2B.) I did my usual thing afterwards, using Miss Jessie’s Quick Curls, and my hair is frizzy. It also feels drier than usual. It’s unfortunate because I have things to do and can’t just hide in my office 🙁 I am going to have to give those away, but I still think the box was a great value. Not a home run like some past boxes but still good 🙂

  19. This was my favorite box so far with the exception of the 2014 naturals box before Christmas – what a deal for $7! I hope Walmart takes a cue and starts giving better items too. I got the nail wraps with the blue floral and love them. Whoo hoo for Target! I really don’t need any of the items but love getting this box!

  20. I am in love with the smell of the body cream. Love it. I got the “painted blossoms” nail wraps. I don’t hate it.
Perfect for spring. I have not ever tried wraps before so I am looking forward to it.
The fragrance is a little sweeter smelling than I like initially but wears very well. After a few minutes it softened to a more subtle pleasant floral scent. Might be a keeper.
    I love coconut scented anything.
I am currently using derma e that I got from my allure box. i have seen this described as going on thin. I disagree. I think this is at least medium weight lotion, but I do not hate that. Maybe I am just applying it too thick. It stays on the skin without soaking in completely. I still feel it on my skin in the morning. I get the sense that it is holding in the moisture because it doesn’t all absorb into my skin. So far I do not think it is my holy grail night cream but if I didn’t see anything else jumping out at me, I might still purchase it again.
I am continually surprised at the value I get in items that I will actually use up from these Target boxes. Amazing.

  21. Love this box. Will use everything except the hair spray. My shampoo was a little leaky but not much. Got the pretty floral nail strips. Can’t wait to try them. Another winner Target!

  22. Loving this box. It seems like they put a lot of items in this time.

I got the Brilliant Burst nail applique. I usually go for neutrals, but I’m really happy I got this. It will be pretty for Spring.

Target does it again! I only wish I’d gotten 2 boxes. I was trying not to be greedy, but now… 🙂

  23. Target beauty box is one of my favorites and for $7 I cannot believe all the complaints over the nail polish. I didn’t love anything, but what I did is worth it!

Bath sponge – Love it! I needed a new one and have been using this, it has a little exfoliation to it. I got pink.

BB Cushion – I was curious about this. I didn’t like it, so it was good to get the sample to try.

Vera Wang – I’ve received this one before in this box. Not a fan It goes into my sample perfume stash to regift

Derma E moisturizer – this burned my face when I put it on. I use tazorac so that may be why. It’s a good size sample. I don’t this for me going to give to my mom. If you want a further look on what’s in it

Mayfair Body Cream – because of the size of this sample, i’m carrying and using as a hand cream and i like it!

SkinFix – haven’t used it much, but it felt really good going on.

Again, what a great box for $7. Didn’t this used to be $5??

  24. I just love Target boxes! Can’t believe all of this for only $7! I won’t use everything, but will donate or swap the things I won’t use.
I also got the neutral nail strips which I like. Funny bc i also received my Julep secret store order on the same day and ordered Whitney bc I was thinking I needed a good neutral color… it’s almost the exact same color as these strips.

  25. I’m curious if anyone else has had this issue with the Target beauty boxes:
The last 4 orders I have placed for boxes have gone through, order confirmed, tracking numbers sent but the boxes never arrive. When I click on the tracking numbers–they don’t exist and there is nothing to track. Target says they have no idea but I can’t for the life of me figure out why this would only happen to me. Of course, by the time I figure out it isn’t actually coming it’s sold out.
    Anyone else?

    • Yes, I’ve had this happen with the tracking numbers with all of my orders but I always eventually receive my boxes (except 1 about a year ago). I always order 2 and they are often separated and arrive days apart.

      • I’ve had the same exact thing a couple times but have always received my boxes. Twice I have ordered two and one has the same tracking number as the first, but will arrive a few days after. I’ve never not received my box.

    • YES! This exact situation happened to me with the two boxes last month, and it’s happened again with this one! My two boxes last month never arrived, and I had to get a refund. I have a feeling this month’s box isn’t going to arrive either. I don’t get it! It’s super frustrating! I really don’t understand what is going on, or where my boxes are ending up! How can they be generating bogus tracking numbers (because they NEVER show up as valid), and what is happening to the actual boxes?

    • Yes, this has happened to me with a beauty box and with other Target online orders, especially around the holidays. Every single item, beauty box, included was out of stock and I got a refund. I dislike how they don’t take the initiative to tell you the item will not be delivered and put it on you to contact them to get your money back. This “fake” tracking number issue has come up with other online retailers, too, in the same out of stock situations.

  26. This is my first Target box, and I’m very happy with it. I snagged three … for myself, my mom and a friend. One box had the bright coral-colored nail wraps … pretty, but not really my color. The other two were the Brilliant Burst design … white with a gorgeous floral accent. Hoping my friend likes coral, as I’ll be keeping the floral one. 😉 Anyway, I’m so pleased with the amount & quality of products they pack in there for just $7… looking forward to the next one!

  27. I got a mini Eco tool’s sponge, and it’s not the exfoliating one.

    • It’s not a pouf like the one pictured above? Do you like it??

    • I’m pretty sure I got the mini Eco tool sponge in both of my boxes too. The one that Liz posted a picture of looks different. I also noticed that her box looks square whereas both of mine came in rectangular boxes.

  28. I’m excited about everything but I was a little disappointed that my shampoo leaked out a bit and on to everything 🙁
There is still about 3/4 left so it’s usable. And was super thrilled to get another bb cushion sample. Loved my last one!

  29. I purchased 2 of these boxes (one for me and one for my daughter). In both boxes, the shampoo had leaked all over everything else. Did anyone else have this problem?

    • I got two shampoos, no conditioner. I think exploded shampoo would be worse.

    • Yes, I had that happen to mine too! Everything smelled of coconut which was fine, but it was seriously all over everything which was NOT fine!

  30. I have three packs of the neutral colored nail wraps up on my swaps for anyone who is looking for a non-bright. I got three boxes to share with my mother, 2 sisters, and roommate, they all came with the neutral color, and none of us use the nail polish strips.

    • Ooh!!! I might take you up on one of them I had a pink ombré which is a little over the top

  31. Love the Target boxes! The spray isn’t my thing but every thing else I will use or love it! The Skinfix lippy is my new favorite lip product-my lips are crazy smooth!

  32. I have a very neutral color in both my boxes – sort of brown/tan. Wish I had the prettier colors. I will order each month that I can possibly manage. This and Allure are my favorites. Birchbox is same old same old – ipsy too.

    • Donna, I’ll trade you! I got two really colorful ones and was hoping for neutrals. 😉 I can send pics!

      • Sarah, sure. How do we proceed?

        • Great! If you’ll shoot me your email I can send you pics and see if you want them!

      • Sarah, I would love to trade. How do we proceed.

  33. Love this box! I’ll use all of it! I got a bright coral-ish nail color, I’ll save those for summer. I wouldve been happier with a neutral color. My bath sponge is grey. Love the bright purple one from the box being reviewed.
I read someone’s comment about their hands being too small for these nail decals. You could try them on your toes! I’ve done it before and they worked great.

  34. I got a couple of the Target boxes too I think it was a great deal for 7.00 and I did use my coupons I just added something small to the order to make up the difference. I got a crazy glittery nail wrap and a neutral tan set. I have very small hands and therefore nails so I don’t know maybe I will play around with them we’ll see or put them up for swap once I get my page started. I also am not a fan of coconut so I may put that in the swap as well. I absolutely adore Skinfix and the Derma E line. I haven’t tried the rest but i do share too my mom and my nieces get things out of all of my boxes. I am gathering things to swap and can’t wait to start my page.

    • I used the nail wraps on my seven year old daughter. All you have to do is use scissors to cut them down a bit (I actually used the bigger strips and cut them into fourths. So one strip I put on four of her fingers!) and then you can use your finger nail along the outside of your nail bed to remove the excess. So that might be a solution for your smaller fingers!

  35. I received a blue floral print for my polish, I’ll give them to my daughter. Everything else was a hit

  36. Love my box. I wish Target would do a subscription so I could get more sleep on the west coast when they are going to release?

    • I agree! I stayed up past midnight and was up at 3 am just to order these hot boxes…lol

  37. I love Target’s quarterly box. Usually it is stuffed to the top but my box rattled and I was getting concerned. When I opened it I was very pleased with all that was inside. The only thing I will probably not use is the press on nail polish. I just am not good at putting on that type of item. One post said she gets two. I think I will try that next time and hope the boxes continue to be full of items I can use. I do wish they would put some Burt’s Bees products in.

  38. in addition, two of these boxes meant two three dollar off coupons.

  39. I got this and immediately regretted it. Am I the only one who is more interested in the actual box than the contents? That’s still not a good enough reason to get it.

I won’t use the spray, I won’t use the body lotion, I won’t use the wraps. I’ll use the shower pouf (but I hate the color I got; seems petty but I don’t want to see that every time I take a shower!) and the shampoo and conditioner samples and the skinfix stuff and the dermae (maybe…I just cracked open my sample from the Allure beauty box last night, so we’ll see how I like it).

I need to learn some self-control. I don’t *have* to get every Target box.

  40. I bought two target boxes like this. I share with my kids and I love it. The shampoo and conditioner are wonderful, and so are the enormous puffs.
Cannot wait to try the nail polish stick-on.

  41. I love the Target Box!! I’ll use everything in this one…and my nail strips are a bright coral color!!! This is my 3rd month of getting the box and it’s fabulous!

  42. I don’t think you can apply the coupon to a future box, because the expiration date on the coupon is March 12. I doubt they’ll release another box in the next month.

$7 for 10 items, 4 of them full size = amazing deal. I love this box.

    • It actually happens quite often that you can use the $3 off $15 purchase and could have this time with the coupon from the last box. For example, if you had purchased the last TBB, the expiration date of the coupon was 2/14/2016. If you purchased two beauty boxes ($14) and added a $1 beauty product, the $3 would have come off. Basically getting each box for $6 and the $1 item for free, making for an even better deal!
Lately, Target has been putting out boxes every month; within the coupon’s expiration. So make sure you have them handy because you never know!

      • I tried that, but then it was going to charge me like $4 for the shipping on the extra item! How did you get around the shipping charge? I know the boxes themselves had free shipping, but the extra item didn’t when I put it in my cart.

        • I pay with my Target Red Card. Extra 5% off and free shipping on everything.

        • I think you get free shipping on everything when you use your Red card. I got one box and 2 other items I needed and didn’t have to pay shipping. Bad thing was-everything shipped separate! Waste of materials!

        • Yeah, I had the same problem. I put two boxes in my cart and added a $1.79 lip balm or something, and they wanted $12 to ship it. I had to make the order $25 to hit the free shipping threshold, which was fine because I ended up ordering a Miss Jessie’s curl product that Birchbox doesn’t sell for whatever reason. I need to set up a Red Card!

  43. I liked almost everything, but the nail polish strips in mine were crazy glitter designs, not at all my thing. I would have loved the neutral in your box. But no complaints–it’s a great deal overall.

    • I got the the neutral shade nail strips and wish I hadn’t! Let me know if you’d like to trade. Easy, since they’d fit in a reg envelope. 🙂

  44. This was my first Target beauty box and i loveed,i use all product, are amazing

  45. I HATE the color of the nail wraps I received! They are that neutral peachy-tan color and are almost exactly the color of my natural nails! Why bother if it is going to be the same color as your nails?!? I bought twotwo Target boxes and both had the same lame color in them!

    • Same problem here! 2 boxes and both with the same skin colored nail wraps I’ll never use! I’m so bummed I didn’t get a fun print like some others. If anyone wants to trade, let me know! 🙂

  46. The nail stickers I got have a lovely floral design!! They retail for $7 on Target’s website instead of $5. Fancy!!

    • I got a floral design too! Style is called Painted Blossoms. Very pretty!

  47. How do you apply the previous coupon to a new box? I tried that and even added another beauty item making it over $15 and it wouldn’t accept it.

    • I bought 2 boxes and added an elf brush to reach the $15 mark. Then it will take the $3 off.

      • I tried again to use my January coupons and placed 3 items from skin care in my cart that totaled over $15 before tax. I used my code, then my sisters code and neither worked. I chatted with someone at Target and apparently in 2 different boxes I received a bad batch of promo codes. I had to place my order, provide him with the order number and then I was to be credited $3 back. Something went wrong and now my accounts all messed up, so they are working on it. I’ll stick to using these in the store next time.

  48. I’m happy I scored one! I will use all the items except the spray. I have naturally thick hair that I try to weigh down most days lol. It won’t go to waste since my grandma wanted it. I’m happy with the nail wraps I got. They’re white with little pastel flowers on the tips.
