Purse – value: ?
So, I think my box might have been missing an info sheet, maybe? Some YouTube unboxings I watched (I couldn’t find any from less than, like, 6 months ago, though) had one, which had prices/values listed and everything. Seems super helpful, but my box didn’t have anything like that.
That being said, this purse is cute. The handles got a little molded to the shape of the purse from the way they packaged it, but that’s fixable. This purse seems okay. It doesn’t blow me away with quality.
Here’s the back of it.
Your Minerals Sweden Transparent Veil Setting Powder – value: $29
I definitely don’t receive enough setting powders in subscription boxes. Last time I got one was from Beauty Army a couple years ago and I loved it and bought a full size. Currently, I’m using MakeUp Forever but theirs is so expensive (worth it, but expensive) so I’m really happy to try this one out! I like it so far – I’ll have to see how it wears and how effective it is, though.
Gorge I'll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray – 4 oz, value: $24.95
I love leave-in conditioners, and I never ever go without some kind of heat protectant when I style my hair. My hair’s gone through a ton of changes, most that I’m not happy about, since having my baby, so I’m always glad to try new products to see if I can reverse some of those.
Yelete Killer Legs Stenciled Bouquet Fishnet Pantyhose – value: $12
Looking at these outside of the package for a moment I feel like they’re made pretty well, but they’re just not something I’ll wear!
Sleeveless Tassle Gown – value?
According to Square Hearts, the dress and the purse together are supposed to value $119. I was very happy to see that it was long enough, it fit well, and the general style/silhouette is nice. The execution is weird though (the tassle? The awkward seam/stitching at the waist?), and this dress was static city, though that’s easily enough remedied.
Verdict: I’m not quite sure what to make of Square Hearts just yet, if I’m being honest. I feel like it could be quite an interesting box if the clothing/accessories align with my taste. I loved the beauty products though! Even though I can’t quite do an exact value on this box, my estimates have it at about $185, when using Square Hearts values for the dress and purse… I don’t think I personally find it to be worth that much to me, it’s still definitely worth more than the $50 cost to me. I’m curious to see future months from them.
