Good to know: when you subscribe to Scentbird you get a monthly $15 credit towards purchasing a full-sized bottle!

Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often.

When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out.  You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month.  If you don't choose one by the cut off date, they will send you the scent of the month.  Next month it is Clean Reserve Velvet Flora.

Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment.  You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee.

Scentbird has also introduced a new a la carte service.  You can choose any cologne you want, with each spray being just $16.95 plus shipping (shipping is free if you order 3 or more sprays).  The cases are sold separately.

This month I chose Coach Poppy Flower.  It was recommended for my preferences after filling out the survey, and I figured "Why not?"  The notes are mandarin, gardenia, freesia, jasmine, and cucumber.

I really love the scent of this!  It's a bit different than I generally choose for perfume, but I think I would wear this one occasionally for sure.  It's really heavy on the floral notes - which is why it's a bit different for me. It reminds me quite a bit of Victoria's Secret Sheer Love fragrance they had a few years back - which I also purchased!  I took that on my first trip to the Mediterranean, so it always brings back wonderful memories - which is why I recognized it here!

Verdict:  The amount of perfume you receive in Scentbird's subscription is 8 ml, or .27 oz.  That makes the value of this shipment $10.52.  The value of every shipment will vary based on the perfume that you choose for the month (or the perfume that is chosen for the perfume of the month).  With that said, I'm happy with the value of this shipment for the cost of the subscription.  I do not think I would ever go through an entire bottle of this perfume, no matter how much I love the scent, and getting to try it out through Scentbird is great for $15 a month versus paying for an entire bottle.

What perfume did you choose this month?  Do you have any recommendations for me?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I actually have Coach Poppy (which I love). I got it from the auction site for a deep discount, unopened. I think Scentbird sounds like a good deal to try out new scents.

I think if you look at their FAQ’s, it will tell you when you can expect your first shipment based on when you signed up. And if not, you can always send an email or chat with them. Their customer service is quick and everyone I have spoken with has been very helpful.

Thank you!

My Feb perfume shipped 2/12. They pretty consistently send out around the 15th each month. If you log in to your account, and then go to My Wardrobe > Subscription Status, it should show you the anticipated shipping date. My March perfume currently shows a shipping date of 3/15 – 3/18. Hope this helps!
