The theme for the January box was coffee and tea. Instead of sending out an informational card, Moustache Stationery puts a business card in the box with the link to the information on their website. You can view that here.

Moustache Notebook – Exclusive – $15.00?

This is a nice notebook, with a very sturdy cover. Of course, the ‘stache on the front is adorable, but it is super functional, as well as being adorable. The spine seems to be well made, so it will hold up to some abuse.

MS5

Coffee Stained Sticky Notes – Exclusive – $5.00?

These sticky notes were created exclusively for Moustache Stationery and they were made in Canada. They seem to be great quality, and they’ll be perfect for marking my books now that I’m back in school. It’s also appropriate that they’re coffee stained, since my life currently revolves around when I can acquire my next cup of the stuff.

Bookmarks – Exclusive – $10.00?

The art on these is really pretty, and the opposite side has a recipe for making the perfect cup of coffee and tea. The coffee bookmark has a suede dangle for easily grabbing the correct page, and the tea bookmark is die cut at the top (around the tea bag) for marking your page.

MS6

Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen – $3.95

A few weeks ago I was looking at getting a fountain pen, just to experiment with my writing. I used to love fountain pens when I was younger – they just seem so much more refined than a standard, run of the mill, RSVP pen or something. So needless to say I was excited about getting this one! It is a fine point pen (.03) and I generally prefer a thicker pen point, but you better believe I’ll be using this for note cards and birthday cards!

Tombow Kei Coat Double Sided Highlighter – $1.21

I received the kelly green color highlighter. I LOVE green, so I this has become my new favorite highlighter. I love that it is smooth, and it has 2 sides to highlight with.

MS7

Coffee Coasters (6) – Exclusive – $8.00?

The art work on these is beautiful. These coasters were another item in the box that were created exclusively for Moustache Stationery. They are printed with Moustache Stationery on the opposite side from the coffee print, and they are about the thickness of two pieces of cardstock put together. If I were to laminate them, or cover them with Mod Podge, I’m betting I could extend their life quite a bit! I needed coasters, so I am happy to receive these!

Verdict: I really enjoyed this shipment from Moustache Stationery! My first box, back in October, was awesome (and I’m still using those pencils!) so I was excited to get this shipment. The shipping happens later in the month (around the 20th I believe), so I didn’t receive this box until February. Another thing to note is that I was charged for February prior to getting my January box. The value of this box is slightly indeterminate because I had to guess on so many values. I tried to research and do my best, so I came up with $43.16. Since this is above the box value, I’m pretty happy with that. I try to also think in terms of: would I spend $39.95 on all of these items in a store? For this box, yes, I would – but, of course, this is individually determined!

What do you think of January’s shipment of Moustache Stationery? Have you given them a try yet?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!

  1. Very unique, Bekki. I feel weird that I’m fond of the bookmarkers they sent. LOL, (the nerd in me). I have to check out your other posts from this box. Two nerdy thumbs, way up!!

  2. Love the coffee theme!
