Awesome Pack is a subscription box that’s all about family fun time! They send board games, toys, and activities to encourage quality time together. I love the concept!

They offer a Family Pack if you need items that would work for young and older kids, or a Big Kid Pack for older kids and adults. (This review is of the Family Pack).

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

When I signed my family up for this subscription, Awesome Pack sent me a pretty extensive quiz about what games my family likes (and what we already have to avoid duplicates). It also asked about the ages of the children and other general interest questions. It’s pretty highly customized! I like that!

As always, they included a fun family activity booklet. In addition, they always send a little piece of Awesome Pack merch, such as a pen or magnet. This month it’s a postcard.

Chip Up! by Mindware – Value $12.25

This month Awesome Pack sent us FOUR games! FUN! This one seems to be kind of like Jenga, but with wavy chips.

Freshwater Life of North America Card Game – Value $9.41

I think most kids would think this was a pretty dull idea for a game, but I happen to have a little boy who’s really, really into marine biology! I think we will have fun with this game!

The Ultimate Hockey Trivia – Value $5?

I am guessing on the value of this game because it’s not for sale online anywhere any more. Hockey isn’t really big in the south, but it’s catching on. My kids don’t know anything about it though. This is a bit of a miss for us, but they do have a friend who’s really into hockey, so this will make a nice gift for him.

Slap Dragon – Value $5.49

This game, on the other hand, I think the boys can play together and will really like. It looks fun!

K’NEX Nintendo Mario Kart Wii Mystery Bags – Value $3.49 each

My little one turned 8 years old today! Happy Birthday, Little Man! First thing this morning I let him pick whatever he wanted out of my “goody bag” (aka “bribery bag”). He pulled these two bags out amongst a few other things. He loves blind bags! They were both Mario! That’s the way it goes sometimes.

Disney Star Wars 200 Sticker Fun Set – Value $10

The Birthday Boy is actually getting these later tonight… I showed this sticker set to my older son, and he asked me if he could give it to his little brother today! Once in a while, little boys can be remarkably sweet. And they LOVE Star Wars, and they LOVE stickers! Good call, Awesome Pack!

Verdict: Awesome Pack is awesome! We have so much fun playing these games every month, and all the extras and toys and things they send have about a 95% success rate with my boys. This month’s value is about $49, so I’m happy with that.
