Trendsend is a personal styling service created by Evereve, a nation-wide retailer specializing in styling moms. It’s quickly become my favorite styling service, and probably one of my favorite subscriptions in general!

FYI – the items in my Trendsend boxes are selected for me based off of my preferences and style profile, so your boxes may look completely different!

Every box contains a letter from your stylist that talks about what items they sent you that month.

I always love reading my letter because it always feel so conversational and personal!

OUTFIT #1:

TRENDSEND BY EVEREVE JAN 2016 - items 1

Billabong Three Wishes Cardigan – Cost to Keep: $78

I can’t find this specific cardigan online, but this one is from the same brand, looks almost identical, and is $20 cheaper. I like this cardigan; I don’t have much olive in my wardrobe. However, I don’t think I’ll wear it enough for the price. Also, it was a weird pick to pair with this tunic because it’s supposed to be a ¾ sleeve I think.

Allison Joy Cozy Striped Tunic – Cost to Keep: $68

This is my favorite item in the box! The material is so soft and the sleeves are perfectly long. It really is cozy (better pic of this top below).

Lysse Mara Legging – Cost to Keep: $78

These have a really flattering high rise to them! They’re thick and comfortable – I have so many black leggings already but I may have to keep these!

Moonlight Fringe Necklace – Cost to Keep: $28

I really like this necklace (detail photo below). It has some pretty details and is a nice length on me.

OUTFIT #2:

Lovestitch Two Pocket Cardigan – Cost to Keep: $78

This cardi is so soft! It feels so great to wear.

Renee C Vallarta Drape Top – Cost to Keep: $48

This top is okay (better pic below), but it lands a little short on my torso. I appreciate the drape front, though!

Kut from the Kloth Catherin Boyfriend Jeans – Cost to Keep: $89

I love Kut from the Kloth (thanks to Trensend!) but I already have a pair of these Catherine jeans in a lighter wash.

Verdict: I have to say that Trendsend by Evereve is one of my favorite subscriptions! I always look forward to opening this box when it comes in the mail. I’ve never had a clothing box have everything always fit me perfectly (even with the first box!). I think their clothes are very well suited to my curvier figure than some stores can be, maybe because they’re geared towards moms. Plus, I love knowing they have me as a “busy mom” in mind and pay attention to my mom-related needs for clothing like nursing and comfort. It’s also great that they send out whole outfits that work together!

I know they changed their model to be closer to Stitch Fix, where they now charge $20 when your box ships and that goes towards your purchased items, but that personally doesn’t bother me because I know I’m going to buy at least one thing every box (if not more!). However I know it’s generally nice to not have a “styling fee.” I do think that they should offer a discount for keeping everything like Stitch Fix does, but Evereve is a real retail store, so I can see how that might not work for them.

So for those of you who’ve tried Trendsend and Stitch Fix – which do you prefer? Thinking of trying one but not sure which route to go. They both seem to have cute clothes. Which is more budget-friendly?

I, too, had an issue with their pricing. A pair of pants they listed on the invoice for $78 came with a tag showing a markdown to $49.99. They did honor the markdown price after I sent them a photo of the tag but they still overcharged me for the two items I kept by $17. Am hesitant to try Trendsend again due to this.

I’ve tried Trendsend by Evereve only once – and was very disappointed. They sent outfits, most of the clothes worked…. BUT – every single item was ON SALE at their store! And they sent the items out as FULL RETAIL. Contacted Customer Service and they would not budge on the prices. As well, most of the brands they carry are also at Nordstrom – and I found that they sent out last seasons brands, which were also available for less than half the price at Nordstrom Rack. They definitely need to change their program if they want to be competitive. Until then…..

Really, Carol? That’s odd. Do you live near a store? They have told me store-specific sales aren’t applicable but if the item is on sale online they honor the difference.

Carol

No stores in Georgia. They did not honor the difference. And – to be quite honest – why would you send out last season’s styles and items that are on sale – with the retail price? It should not be up to me to have to track down the items and debate (even if they did honor) the cost. If it is last season – and on sale – send it out with the updated price.

Sandra

Nice stuff but $78 for leggings? Not sure about that
