Good to Know: When you sign up, you have not only a choice of size (S-2XL), but also a choice of what category you want your goodies from:

We chose Movies and TV, but we may switch to Cartoons soon. Or one of the comics? We can change as often as we’d like!

I was afraid this would happen… This is a very cool shirt I’m sure for people who watch Game of Thrones, but I’ve been waiting to read the books before I start gorging on Netflix GoT. No one else in the family has watched it ever, I think, but I imagine it’s too mature for my sons anyway. I chose the Movies and TV category because I thought it would encompass some of all of the other categories, but I think we will go ahead and try out the cartoon category. Right? What should I choose?

My nine-year-old was really excited about the comic this month. Score!

Verdict: This was our second package from Teeblox, and while it didn’t work out as well as the first, they did deliver on their promise of a geek tee. This will make a good sleep shirt for the boys (unless the graphic scares them!). The comic was a definite win, though. In terms of value, I think Teeblox is excellent! You really get a lot for $10!

What do you think of Teeblox?

  1. I like the idea of this box. I do think that the prices/sizes of the shirts should be uniform throughout all genres. For example, the Disney (it was the first category, so I clicked it) box is $13.99/month, the shirts are Junior sizes up to XL. The TeeBlox link does tell you they start at $9.99 a box. I think it should tell you the price of each category, before you click on it.. as you have to complete 2 steps (the genre and shirt size) before you see the price of that specific genre.

I think I’ll keep an eye on it though and see if you like your next box (especially if it’s a different genre). Thanks for the review. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Valerie!

  2. You should not wait to read the books first. George R.R. Martin will never finish this series…

    • Shouldn’t I at least read the first one? What kind of geek would I be if I didn’t? ?

  3. Seriously- GoT is hardly even tame enough for adults. Once you watch it, I’ll bet you will LOVE this shirt. Love.

  4. GoT isnt on Netflix. πŸ™

    • Maybe I’m thinking of Amazon Prime?

  5. GoT is a must watch and definitely not for children. I wish this sub offered bigger sizes
