The Tea Spot Bolder Breakfast Loose Leaf Tin – 3.25 oz, value: $10.99

I like this brand’s teas, and I’m happy to have a whole tin! Plus, I love their packaging.

Victorian House Scones Brown Sugar Shortbread Mix - .84 lbs, value: $7.25

These cookies sound delicious! I love shortbread and brown sugar so I’m sure that these will be right up my alley. I like that they included a mix and not just a couple cookies in the box – it’s fun to have a mix that I can bake up, especially this time of year.

The Tuffy Steeper – value: $8.95

I’ve received a lot of tea infusers from subscription boxes but I think this is my favorite! It’s modern and unique, and I like that I can pour my hot water over it into my mug. Plus, the top turns into a drip dish for once you’re done steeping. This is actually the second I’ve received in a sub box so I am happy to gift one – my sister would love this.

The Taffy Shop Saltwater Taffy in Cinnamon Roll and Peppermint – value: $.50

These taffy candies are a nice little extra treat and I like that they included seasonal flavors. I personally don’t care for taffy myself, but I gave these to my dad who said they were pretty good!

Verdict: The value for this month’s Tea Box Express adds up to $27.69. I think that this box tends to be more about curation than a huge value, but even though I like everything in the box, I’m not happy that the value is less than the cost of the box. Hopefully, this improves a little more soon!

Also the cookie cutters this month are definitely NOT going up for swap. Going to use them this week for a “tea with the author event.” Cookies shaped like tea pots and cups will be perfect!

Not that it would make a huge difference in the value but you didn’t include the value of the cookie cutters…unless I missed something

There are other tea sub boxes that are just teas, but I love Tea Box Express because they give tea, snack and a reusable kitchen item. To me the value you get each month is great. Also if there is ever something I do not need I find the item is easily swapped on MSA. Think of this as not a box of tea — but a mini tea party in a box!

What is the point of a tea sub if they only send you 1 tea lol? I mean, I get the both but tea subs should send at least 2 (at this price; more if price is higher) because it’s a tea sub!

Personally, that is my favorite part about this sub! I definitely don’t go through more than 1 box of tea a month, and I love getting snack or treats, and reusable kitchen things. Like Ann said, it’s aimed to be “a tea party in a box” and not just only a monthly delivery of tea. And that’s what sets it apart from other tea boxes, because there are plenty of tea subs that only send teas. =]
