Each box also includes an info card that lists and describes each item in the box.

They also include a sneak peek at a spoiler item in every box. I have to say, I’m actually excited for one of these because I like the designs. I’m hoping I get the mint/navy geometric heart!

Inspirational Decal – value: $2?

Adventure Bracelet – value: $12?

This bracelet is cute, but big! I guess it’s adjustable depending on how far you want to bend the plane and cloud pieces, though! Here’s some close up details:

Hamilton Beach 17 oz Fruit Infuser Water Bottle – value: $16?

(Colors for this bottle varied, FYI). I was happy to see a brand I recognize! This bottle feels like nice quality. It’s glass and feels put together well.

Kikkerland Selfie Stick – value: $12.50

Well, it happened. I thought I would never own a selfie stick, but here I am. I think it’s not a bad item to include, though. I’m sure there are people who have wanted to try one but haven’t wanted to pay for one.

PEACHES AND PETALS JAN 16 - items 4

Family Circle Healthy Home Style Cooking Volume 4 – value: $34?

The retail value on the book says $34, but I know you can find it online cheaper, just so you know. I think a cook book like this is a great inclusion for a January box, beginning a new year! This is a big, hefty cook book. I’m actually pretty excited about this. Have a peek inside:

Verdict: I’m actually pretty happy with this Peaches and Petals box. I think they’re doing better with their curation. I know their description says “vintage-modern items,” but I think they’re catching on that a “lifestyle” box is probably better received. The value adds up to about $40 WITHOUT adding whatever you personally value the cookbook at – $76.50 if you use its $34 suggested retail price! However, it’s tricky to get the value known for sure since they don’t list values (or brands) on their info cards; a lot of my value was based off of similar products I could find online or educated guesses.

I had an issue with the website not loading when i entered my cc info and ended up ordering 2 subscriptions (derp.), I immediately cancelled one of them from the Manage Account page and e-mailed them to ask for a refund and explain the mistake. I never heard back.

Come January, I get this HUGE box in the mail (like a box you’d use to pack for a move). There were THREE January P&P boxes in it! In most other circumstances, I’d be thrilled to recieve extra stuff! But I cant even pawn these off on people (besides the selfie sticks, they took those. Haha)

The bracelet looks like it came from a 25-pack of party favors at a dollar store. I don’t need a cookbook, this is 2016 and I have internet. Selfie stick? Alright fine, I’ll admit I’ve wanted to try one. Water bottle? Meh, but kinda nice I guess. A sticker though?! Seriously? Ugh. I unsubbed immediately and then got the email that the price is going up.

I absolutely adored this box! Lots of useful stuff. I don’t mind if the full color, hard cover recipe book was printed a few years ago. Recipes don’t go out of fashion, do they? We already made the baked donuts in it – it was a big hit.

If you look close the February spoiler is just the pillow COVER, but the actual pillow isn’t included. 🙁

I sent an email to customer service after several months of boxes being received in the following month so I asked for a breakdown of billing vs receiving the box and yes, they did confirm my boxes arrive in the first week or two into the month following, though are supposed to be shipped on the 11th of each month–they promised they are fixing the problem but here I am nearly at the end of Jan and…NADA. I do use or give away the items (from a large family so nothing goes to waste) but come March and the price bump I’ll probably wave Buh-bye!

This is so frustrating! I thought I’d try this box for the accessories they have always done. And then I get a selfie stick? UM. I’m thrilled about the fruit infuser bottle, but it’s still not what I thought I was signing up for. Better than out-of-date cosmetics? Yes, I suppose.

I was also super bummed that my bracelet came out of the box already tarnished. WHOMP WHOMP.

I Cancelled after I was getting my box late as in the next month. I felt like I was getting leftover’s. CS said they ship by the end of the month? I wanted to love them being from TN where the box is from but I feel it’s a poor representation and so many better boxes out there.

This was my first box and I was a bit disappointed – that balloon necklace was shameful, imo. Then, I received the email indicating the cost increase. I cancelled my subscription right after that.

Cookbook was free with a 2 year sub to the magazine a couple of years ago. Mine has not even shipped yet. Spoiler for February pillows are cute but will not be here in time.

I was happy with my box. I did not have a fruit infuseR or a selfie stick.

Another fruit-infused water bottle? Good freaking lord.

I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to my subscription boxes and I am SO disappointed in this month’s box. I received an absolutely hideous necklace that is straight out of the dollar store (a huge ugly enameled hot air balloon!) A cookbook is great except this one was printed in 2011. Not exactly current. I didnt own a selfie stick and it will be fun, no complaint there. As far as a fruit bottle……that is so last year (as in, I have like 5 of those from boxes last year, lol) That combined with the fact that they will be increasing the price, this one may have to go!
