MISSION CUTE JANUARY 2016 - info

Every MissionCute box comes with an informational card detailing that month’s featured items inside and what charity they’re donating to.

MISSION CUTE JANUARY 2016 - items 1

Daily Thought Notepad – value: $14.99

This is a thick notepad (365 pages)! I won’t need another list notepad for quite some time! I love the gold foil on it, and the quotes are cute.

MISSION CUTE JANUARY 2016 - items 2

MissionCute Mulberry Gloves – value: $15

These are cute! They have a thumb hole. I like the look they add to outfits.

MissionCute Exclusive Print – value: $9

This is really pretty – I love the flowers. I think the quote is interesting too. There’s a lot changing in my life right now and, even though it’s good change, it still feels kinda big and scary, you know?

MISSION CUTE JANUARY 2016 - items 3

Scents of Syria Soap – value: $10

This soap is interesting. I can’t figure out what exactly it smells like, but it’s definitely a very earthy scent.

MISSION CUTE JANUARY 2016 - items 4

Zaaina Vanilla Honey Lip Balm – value: $6

This balm smells so good! I also really love the simple ingredients list. However, I have a thing about lip products in pots or tins where you need to use your fingers to apply – I don’t want whatever is all over my hands to be all over my lips! This will be swapped or gifted, sadly.

Verdict: I liked this month’s MissionCute! I’m not 100% sure I’ll use the soap, and I won’t use the balm but I’m really happy with everything else in the box. The value adds up to $54.99 which I’m happy with.

I liked this one, especially the gloves. As far as the tinned lip balms, I keep an extra lip brush with mine and use that instead of my finger. In addition to not having to worry about whatever might be on my hands, it keeps the balm from getting under my rather long fingernails. I keep a balm that’s in a stick form or a ball form (EOS-type) in my purse, so the ones in the tins are just for home use.

I look at the reviews for ‘mission cute’ just for the shock factor that people actually pay for this.
