Julep Nail Color in Joss – Retail Value $14
Julep Nail Color in Shay – Retail Value $14
Joss is described as a “Ripe fig duochrome,” and Shay is a “Celadon iridescent chrome.” I prefer to just call them my new mermaid colors!
Julep It’s Balm Full Coverage Lip Crayon in Nectar Pink Creme – Retail Value $20
This lip crayon has a moisturizing lip balm core:
So the formula is part lip crayon, part lip balm. I like the result a lot – it gives color and a good amount of moisture, and it’s one of those lip products you can apply without having to look in a mirror! Here it is swatched:
(That’s several swipes for color)
This box also came with bonus candy and a coupon code for a free It’s Whipped Lip product with your purchase of $20 ore more (Expires February 29th, 2016).
Verdict: I’m happy with my selections this month. I was curious about their new moisturizer, but looking at the reviews on their site, it looks like it has some packaging issues, so maybe it is a good thing that I decided to go with the lip balm this month!
