Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. They offer over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences.

For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to trash snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.

Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.

Back in December, subscribers received the following email:

Graze-January-2016-Email

From now on, Graze will no longer offer 4-snack boxes. My subscription was automatically changed to an 8-snack box.

Graze-January-2016-FoldOut1

Each box comes with a personalized fold out card that provides tips from Graze’s nutritionist and information about the Graze rewards program.

The back of the card has nutritional info, ingredients, and expiration dates for each snack.

Graze-January-2016-Flapjack

Honeycomb Flapjack

Graze produces an entire line of flapjacks, and they’re very popular in my house. I’ve received this flavor before, and I’m a big fan of the addition of crunchy honeycomb and dark chocolate.

Cookies & Cream

This snack is a mix of white chocolate buttons, sunflower seeds, mini cocoa cookies, and cocoa fudge. Sunflower seeds aren’t usually one of my go-to snacks, but I really like them in this blend. (Perhaps this is fuel for the argument that chocolate mades everything better?)

Graze-January-2016-Thai

Stars & Stripes

Stars & Stripes is one of my all-time favorite snacks from Graze. I’m a big fan of gummy candy, and this blend of mini blackcurrant stars, raspberry strings, and blueberry flavored cranberries is kind of like a healthy take on the sugary, processed candies I crave. It’s one of my “love it” snacks, so I receive it fairly frequently.

Thai Sweet Chili Bites

This snack, on the other hand, is one of my husband’s favorites (He’s a big fan of nearly all of Graze’s “dippers.”) The crunchy baked soy bites are really yummy with the sweet chili sauce, and I think this is a great snack to satisfy a craving for something savory.

Graze-January-2016-Cashews

Zesty Chili Lime Cashews

A couple of months ago, my Graze box was filled with lots of snacks I hadn’t tried before. This box, on the other hand, is full of my tried and tested favorites! I’ve received Zesty Chili Lime Cashews quite a few times in the past, and I’m a big fan of them. The seasoning is really tasty.

Raspberry & Coconut Muffin

Graze makes a number of deconstructed snacks, and I think it’s fun to eat the different components together to see if they actually taste like their inspiration. In this case, I’m not sure the raspberry cranberries, coconut, amaretti drops, and almonds scream “muffin” to me, but they sure are yummy together.

Graze-January-2016-Sriracha

Spicy Sriracha Crunch

If you like spicy snacks, I definitely recommend trying the Spicy Sriracha Crunch. It’s a mix of sriracha peas, sriracha popped corn kernels, and jumbo corn.

Cinnamon Pretzel

Pretzels are a snack that I always enjoy never think to buy for myself. (I guess I like them but just don’t find them crave-able.) These cinnamon pretzels were enjoyable, but I didn’t love them enough to request that Graze send them regularly.

Verdict: Graze is one of the first subscription boxes I ever signed up for, and I still look forward to their snacks every month. I love the single-serve packs and their large variety of fun treats. I was surprised to see that they’re doing away with their 4-snack box option, but I think I’ll be happy receiving the 8-snack box instead. Up until now, I was subscribed to receive Graze boxes bi-weekly, so I’ll likely just change my preferences so that I receive a box monthly instead. Since the cost of the 8-snack box has been lowered slightly, I’ll actually be receiving the same number of snacks for about a dollar less per month.

Do you subscribe to Graze? How do you feel about receiving 8-snacks per box instead of 4?

I had an honest to goodness dream last night that Graze came to Canada. Maybe one day…

I am confused why I am paying 11.99 a box and that is what the website says as well..

That struck me too. I’m also paying the $11.99 rate I even went to graze’s website to double check.

I find their snacks to be hit or miss for me, but every time I get a bummer box I taste at least one that I like so much it reels me back in.

I signed up for the free trial so I’m looking forward to getting my first box.

I was also switched from the 4-pack to the 8-pack box but I feel like 8 is too many for my husband and I… we’re already monthly and we also get NatureBox (Dried Pineapple is AMAZING) and Love with Food.

So I looked online and found that Graze offers a 4-pack of Flapjacks only (my favorite!) so I switched my subscription to that for my next box. (There’s also a 4-pack of dippers only if you prefer those.)

I decided to do the trial. I like how easy it is to exclude non-vegetarian items. And I think the portion sizes will prevent overindulging.

I signed up with a deal online for 4 boxes and I’m loving it so far. I’m thinking of keeping the 8 box bi-weekly for snacks at work but we will see how that goes with my budget once I’m paying for the boxes in February!
