Priddy by Pruella Dress – Value: $70?
(96% Rayon, 5% Spandex; hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry)
This is the best item in my tote! I practically squealed when I saw a Priddy label in my items. This pattern is awesome, the material is super comfortable, and I can wear it in the spring time or with leggings and boots (and maybe a scarf!) for now in the Winter. I love it!
Sweet Clair Knit Top – value: $30?
(55.5% Polyester, 44.5% Rayon; Hand wash cold, dry flat)
I like this top. I wouldn’t have picked it out for myself but I think I can wear it with a lot of things. I think it would pair especially well with some cool, high-waisted skirts.
Ellison Fluffy Jacket – value: $40?
(100% polyester, lining 75% Rayon and 25% polyester; hand wash cold)
Golden Tote apparently likes to send me weird, fluffy, white jackets. I got one in my November $149 tote, too. This one has a nice feel – it has a good weight and is nicely lined – but the fit and style are just way off for me. I don’t think it’s flattering at all, and it’s a total miss for me.
KikaPaprika Skirt – value: $30?
(66% Tencel, 28% Cotton, 6% Spandex; machine was with like colors, lay flat to dry)
(I wouldn’t wear this skirt with this top, FYI) I’m not really happy with this skirt. It’s a size 2. I am not. I am able to put it on, thanks to the stretch, but it doesn’t fit great at the waist. To be clear, I ordered a size medium tote. Maybe they standardized the sizing from across the brands and this “size 2” just happens to fit what they categorize as “medium” measurements? I’m not sure.
However, my biggest complaint with this item, fit aside, is that even though it has the brand tags attached the fabric looks pilled like it’s been worn and washed already. Frankly, I feel like it looks second-hand. Here’s a photo I tried to get to show you (below)…
I hope you can see what I mean here. The fabric looks like it’s been worn, washed, and has pilled. I don’t think it’s made to look like that, but I don’t know why this could be with tags attached? It’s really odd.
Verdict: This was, overall, a rather unsuccessful Golden Tote Mystery Tote for me. I’m in love with the Priddy by Pruella dress and the knit top isn’t bad, but the other two are just not for me. I’ll be swapping or gifting them.
