DOTTIE BOX MINI JANUARY 2016 - info

Every Dottie Box Mini comes with a little card listing the items featured for the month.

DOTTIE BOX MINI JANUARY 2016 - items 1

Flutterfly Scrubs Green Apple Lip Scrub - .5 oz, value: $6?

Lip scrubs are something I like getting in subscription boxes because they’re not something I would normally buy (I love lip scrubs, but when I need one I’m more likely to mix sugar and coconut oil in my hand for it instead of go pay for one). The green apple flavor is interesting. It seems a little young of a flavor for me, but I will still use this.

Oragami Love Note – value: $3

This is a cute little note, but I wouldn’t personally pay $3 for it. It’ll get added to a gift though.

Then there was this little package inside!

Good Eats Mini Desk Calendar – value: $7

DOTTIE BOX MINI JANUARY 2016 - items 4

This calendar is so cute! I love the dessert theme.

DOTTIE BOX MINI JANUARY 2016 - items 5

Dottie Box sent one of these calendars in the full-size box this month, but I like this one better. The theme is cute and I like how each month is different with this one.

Art Goodies Coupon

I appreciate coupons as bonuses but am not personally a fan of them being included as a “featured item” unless they’re straight up gift card codes.

Verdict: The value of this month’s mini Dottie Box comes out to $16, which isn’t great. This month isn’t a huge hit for me, personally, but I’ll still use each item so I’m not super bummed.

What do you think about this month’s mini Dottie Box?

Jessica

I was really disappointed this month, but it’s the first time I didn’t love everything, so I can’t complain.

i wasn’t crazy about this box, either. I have enough calendars now that I’m running out of places to put them.
