Bluum Subscription Box Review & Coupon December 2015 - BOX

Bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies and toddlers. Their boxes are very customized – specific to the month of your child’s age. Also, they recently began allowing you to “build your own Bluum,” meaning you can even pick what products you’ll receive out of a very wide selection of items (one of my very favorite parts of this subscription!). However, subscribers can still skip choosing their items in order to still be surprised each month.

The box I’m reviewing is customized from my preferences and choices for my son, who was born this past September! Because of this, my box may look completely different than someone else’s box.

FYI – Bluum doesn’t include info cards in their boxes – instead, they email you the details and values on each of the items included in your box. This email also includes links for you to provide feedback for your items in exchange for reward points.

Baby Sprouts & Co. Tiffany Clouds Wooden Baby Teether – value: $15.99

Baby Sprouts & Co. Tiffany Clouds Baby Bib – value: $12.99

I love the design of both these items! I think they’re stylish and would actually make a great gift set. I’ll definitely be using them, though. (And they’re on sale on the manufacturer’s website!)

Dr. Brown's Soft Spout Transition Cup, 6 Oz. – value: $5.99

I really like this sippy cup – it has a soft spout to help transition between bottles and normal lidded cups.

ITZY RITZY Travel Happens Sealed Wet Bag – value: $17.95

This bag is bigger than I thought it would be. It’s great because I can fit quite a lot in it – perfect for packing up clothes affected by a spill or spit up.

Verdict: I’m really loving my Bluum Boxes since they implemented “build your own” boxes! Now that I can pick and choose what I’m getting and I know they’ll be things we’ll use, it’s become one of my favorite subscriptions. The value for this month adds up to $52.92 and I’m happy with that.

I downloaded the app and I’ve been LOVING the box customization options!! I’ll keep subscribing as long as I can customize it.

This box seems pretty good, but the one my niece (23 month) was terrible! It’s normally functional, but the items this month just seemed thrown together from excess stock.. There were these shoulder strap things for a car seat, a bib, and this wooden book to help count doggies – cute enough, but they seemed a little young. She hasn’t worn a bib in months! The worse item was this lime green beanie hat that clearly had a tag on it that said 6 months. Poorly done Bluum.

Hmm, that’s not cool. Have you tried it since they implemented being able to choose your own products? That way you have control over what you get and can make sure the items are something you’ll want and use!

Yeah I have to agree with the previous commenters! I’ve tried Bluum twice now, once before the revamp and once after. I’m still not impressed. The box’s value seems rather low, none of the products are exciting for my 2 year old so it’s not interesting curation-wise, and this time I’ve had issues with both being overcharged and missing an item from my box.

I miss Citrus Lane. Trying out Koala Crate too to see how that goes as a replacement.

Bluume for my age group (2 yrs) never has this kind of value…usually around $30 which isn’t great even when paying $19/box. Plus it’s pretty much the same options every month. We are really going to miss Citrus Lane.

I feel like this would be a great box for $20-25. At the current price, it wouldn’t be worth it to me personally.
