ROAM Calendar by 42 Pressed – Value $28

I am a sucker for packaging, so I fell in love with this item before I even knew what it was! Now I know it is a desk calendar:

Here it is in action:

With every month, the design changes a little bit as you remove the month in front and put it in the back! I really love this piece – and it is something I don’t think I would have come across on my own. (Thanks subscription boxes!)

Flourish Leather Co. Bracelets – Value $16 total

These are genuine leather and hand-made bracelets. I like the mix of colors too. Here they are on:

And the snaps:

One thing to note – these aren’t adjustable.

Lillian Eve Nail Polish in Under My Feet – Value $12

Here is the nail polish on from Lillian Eve:

Their polishes are 5-free and vegan!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $56. I think that value is pretty good and in line with what I’ve come to expect from Aster Market. For me, this box is most about discovering new independent makers, and getting a box that feels like a curated gift. I think they delivered on both of those parts – this box always feels like it was very thoughtfully put together.

What do you think of the January Aster Market box?

  1. So they thought the vegan, cruelty free polish and a leather bracelet would make a good combo? Do they not understand what vegan means?

  2. What a cool calendar! The rest of the box isn’t my taste

  3. I think the calendar is so unique. Plus I was so glad for a neutral color polish. Plus I love that the box had sort of a color theme!

  4. This month was a bust for me. I hate calendars, don’t wear leather and while I like nail polish, I like it flamboyant and obnoxious, like me. Their curation is tasteful, but it’s just not me. Glad this is my last month.

  5. This is the first one of these that I almost like. Just needs a couple more additions to bring value and it would be great. Love that calendar!

  6. I don’t subscribe but this box would not have made me happy,

  7. I love the calendar!! And the bracelets! I don’t use nail polish but would have been thrilled with this box. I’m going to look for that calendar for sure.

  8. Fancy ??

  9. I really like the bracelets. The calendar is unique, but I’m overwhelmed with calendars/planners these days. The nail polish is just okay. All in all, I like this box 🙂
