Yogi Surprise is a monthly health and wellness subscription box that sends you natural goodies each month. Some items may be specifically for yoga, but in general, this is more of a lifestyle box.

Om Lavender Sachet – Value $12

Yogi Surprise partnered with Haiti Projects to produce this lavender sachet pouch. More about Haiti Projects:

Haiti Projects empowers women of rural Haiti toward self-sufficiency by providing access to jobs at fair trade wages, education, health care, and avenues for building sustainable community.

Real Beauty For A Cause Sweet Orange & Cinnamon Scrub – Value $16

I was excited about this scrub, but it doesn’t have the scent I was expecting for a citrus/cinnamon scrub. (I guess it is just much more subtle). I liked the fine texture of the sugar in this scrub, but it didn’t have much oil at all. (Good or bad depending on your oil ratio preferences for scrubs!)

yogi-surprise-dec-2015-tea

Buddha Teas Crown Chakra Tea – Value $9

This tea is made with organic lavender, organic nutmeg seed, and organic rose petal. (And that’s it!) I love that these teas are organic and don’t need any natural or artificial flavoring.

VOKE Vitalizers Starter Kit – Value $7

These tabs are designed to give you a shot of energy without the drink. Personally, I like drinking a few cups of tea a day, so I’ll be passing on these.

yogi-surprise-dec-2015-clove-bud

Aura Cacia Clove Bud Comforting 100% Pure Essential Oil – Value $7

Clove is one of my favorite winter scents, so I was happy to see this in the box! I might need to try the Balsam Fir Needle oil too.

Power Yoga The Card Set – Value $13

I like this card set! It works well for someone like me who needs to break goals down piece by piece to get them done. (AKA – “I need to do an hour of yoga,” vs “I need to do one or two cards and take it from there…”)

The cards have different poses and instructions and many include advanced and beginner adjustments to make the poses work for you:

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $64. I think that’s a pretty good value for the box. The only thing that isn’t for me is the VOKE energy tabs – I’ll use everything else. And I think this box has a good mix of fitness, relaxation and beauty – I’m just missing the delicious vegan treat!

What do you think of the December Yogi Surprise box?
