Trendsend by Evereve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - BOX

Trendsend is a personal styling service created by Evereve, a nation-wide retailer specializing in styling moms. It’s quickly become my favorite styling service, and probably one of my favorite subscriptions in general!

Trendsend by Evereve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - packaging 1

Trendsend brings the styling experience of Evereve’s stores to the comfort of your home based off of your personal preferences and style profile. You can choose to receive Trendsends every month, every other month, or quarterly. You can also choose to receive a Trendsend box at any time, without signing up for a subscription.

FYI – the items in my Trendsend boxes are selected for me based off of my preferences and style profile, so your boxes may look completely different!

Every box contains a letter from your stylist that talks about what items they sent you that month. I love how personal my stylist’s letter is!

OUTFIT #1:

Trendsend by Evereve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - items 1

Classic Jersey Tank in White – Cost to Keep: $28

I mentioned loving this tank top when they sent it to me last month in black, so they sent it again in white! Definitely a high quality basic.

Free People Sheila Hacci – Cost to Keep: $68

I’m a fan of this top! I don’t normally care for drapey things and I would never have picked this up in the store, but I love it. It’s super soft, comfortable, and will be easy for nursing!

Kut from the Kloth Diana Skinny Jeans in Breezy – Cost to Keep: $69 (on sale! Original price $89)

Part of me feels like I should be irked that they sent the same pair of jeans in the same wash as once before (which I purchased), but I love these jeans so much I can’t be mad. Plus, Trendsend is all about getting whole outfits, and they know how much I love this brand (and skinnies!). Also, this lets me see how the clothes work with my current wardrobe. They’re on sale, so I just might buy a second pair!

OUTFIT #2:

Braeve Kayak Button Down – Cost to Keep: $39.99 (on sale! Original price $68)

I really love this top! I was totally planning on buying it, but all the reviews on Evereve’s website say this top shrinks badly when washed, even by hand in cold water! I just don’t have the time (or desire, let’s face it) to get things in my regular wardrobe dry cleaned, so I’m going to have to pass.

Kut from the Kloth Diana Skinny Jeans in Grey – Cost to Keep: $89

Again, my favorite brand and style of jeans, in a new color! I don’t actually own any grey jeans. I love these – I just wish they were on sale, too!

Excelsior Tassel and Bangle Pendant Necklace – Cost to Keep: $28

I can’t find this necklace on their site, even by typing in the style number, so my guess is that they no longer sell it. I like the different accents on the necklace and the tassel is just fun. (detail shots below)

John and Jenn Aztec Open Drape Cardigan – Cost to Keep: $49.99 (on sale! Original price $88)

This cardigan is actually one I requested in my comments in my style profile! I love to know that my stylist really paid attention to that. I don’t think this pattern is “Aztec” as much as it is geometric, but that’s not a big deal to me. I like it! It’s very warm.

Here’s a better picture of the necklace.

Verdict: This is my third Trendsend box and I have to say that it’s one of my favorite subscriptions! I always look forward to opening this box when it comes in the mail. I’ve never had a clothing box have everything always fit me perfectly (even with the first box!). I think their clothes are very well suited to my curvier figure than some stores can be. Plus, I love knowing they have me as a “busy mom” in mind and pay attention to my mom-related needs for clothing.

I know they changed their model to be closer to Stitch Fix, where they charge $20 when your box ships and that goes towards your purchased items, but that honestly doesn’t bother me because I know I’m going to buy at least one thing every box (if not more!). I do think that they could offer a discount for keeping everything like Stitch Fix does, but I know Evereve is a real retail store, so I can see how that might not work for them.

Andrea

Look at the sleeve length on the cardigan! I love it. Did you end up returning the sherpa bracelet-length cardigan? I love wraps like this that are basically acceptable blankets to leave the house in =D

Hi Andrea! I didn’t return the Sherpa jacket you’re referring to because I got it in my December Golden Tote and the clothes you get in those are yours to keep (vs trying things on and paying for what you like). I have it in the plastic it came in trying to decide what to do with it! I had it listed for swap for a few days but I’m so torn that I took it down until I’m sure what to do!

But yes, I love this sweater! And you’re right – they’re like blankets you can wear out! =]

Andrea

I liked the idea of sewing in sweater sleeves to lengthen them. I may have to do that to a couple of my tops that have shrunk! I always look like an awkward gangly teen after I wash new clothes, hah.

Kiki

Wow..everything looks so good on you! I think the best item though is the Aztec cardigan sweater! I’m in love with it. Unfortunately, I can’t afford that much but, I’m super impressed by the quality and how they actually pay attention to your preferences.

I love Trendsend as well! They send such gorgeous high quality clothing! I let go of Stitch Fix for them! I got them same Kut from the cloth jeans! Both colors as well, they are super comfy and look amazing on! I received an Aztec cardigan too but it had little fuzzy things all over it. I also had the same problem with duplicates, I got a wireless bra from Free People twice and both were even the same color! Other than that though this service is perfect! The shirts they send are always so amazing and fit great! I look forward to each one every month!

Alicia – that’s great! And personally I’m not disappointed about the duplicates, because I asked for more colors of the tank and I always rave about the jeans! =] What’s your favorite item you’ve received from Trendsend?

Yay! Glad to see them reviewed here. I think they do a phenomenal job at listening to what you want and planning their outfits around how you describe your lifestyle.
They have introduced me to so many new brands and through the styling box you can see how those brands fit or if the quality feels worth the price.
Also they have amazing sales!!
