Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - lid

Here’s a look at the bold, orange on black, design of the inner lid. While this box wasn’t as big as the Star Wars box, it’s still about the size of 4 monthly Loot Crates in one.

Each box included an item card detailing everything you were about to tear through.

Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - shirt and hoodie

Zombies Shirt – Value $10?

When you fire up Black Ops III for the first time, the only mode available while installing the game is zombie mode. My friend and I didn’t survive too long in zombie mode, honestly, but it was fun. The material of the shirt is really soft and lighter weight. The graphic is large and bold as well.

Black Ops III Hoodie – Value $25?

I’m the type of guy who can never has enough hoodies. As the weather starts to cool, I get excited that hoodie weather is on the way! Nothing flashy here, just a bold Call of Duy on a black hoodie. Sometimes it’s best to just go for a straightforward basic, and I think that’s the case here.

Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - backpack

Backpack – Value $20-30?

How much are backpacks these days? I’m completely out of the loop on that. This is your basic backpack. On the inside, it has no extra pockets or anything, and just the outside pocket. This would probably be more useful to carry around your system and gaming gear. I like the design as well!

Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - headphones and coasters

Coaster Set – Value $10?

They include an exclusive rubber coaster set. I like the design of these as well, in fact, I’m not sure there’s anything in the box where I don’t like the graphic/design, most is pretty basic. Gotta have coasters on hand while gaming – no one wants rings on their table from your Mountain Dew: Code Red.

Earbuds + Charger – Value $30?

This an exclusive set of earbuds and a pocket USB charger. It never hurts to have an extra portable charger or earbuds, in my opinion.

The earbuds are a basic design with circular inserts.

Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - gloves and socks

Texting Gloves – Value $10-15?

Socks – Value $5?

They include a couple more wearables in the box. It’s starting to feel more like December today, so I’ll probably need gloves and long socks soon.

Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - mousepad and beanie

Reversible Beanie – Value $10-15?

This is a really nice beanie. Very nice, heavier material, and reversible to boot.

Gaming Mat – Value $19.99 on Amazon

I found a similar Black Ops 3 brand Razer mat on Amazon, so that’s where I’m getting my value from. Razer gamepads are made with getting the best out of gaming in mind:

Slick taut Weave for speed gameplay. The Weave on the Razer goliathus is pulled taut to create a Slick and seamless surface so your gaming mouse glides quickly with zero hindrance.

Loot Crate Limited Edition Call Of Duty Black Ops III Crate Review - comic and phone wallet

Black Ops III Comic with exclusive variant cover – Value $1.99 on Amazon

Cell Phone Wallet – Value $10?

The comic they include is the first entry in a prequel to the game. I wasn’t sure what the cell phone wallet was until I double-checked the card. It’s a pretty neat idea. It’s made of a thick, but bendable, rubber with adhesive on the back so that you can stick it to your phone.

Verdict: While it’s tough to determine the value of so many exclusive items, there was definitely a lot of items in this exclusive box. I thought they did a much better job of focusing on who would be getting this box, it feels aimed at one group of people, and the items are well-suited for that person. I’m really excited for more limited edition crates in the future – to me, Loot Crate has gotten better over time, and I think they can get better at Limited Edition crates as well.

  1. I was really wondering what would be in these $100 boxes. Looks like it would be great for a teen.

  2. And I just read the FYI and get what the issue is now. Sorry.

  3. Perhaps the system can’t see as I have my account set to a private level where only friends can see posts?

  4. Looks fun! I referred the giveaway on Facebook but it doesn’t seem to recognize that?
