Tea Box Express Subscription Box Review November 2015 - items 1

Two Moon Shortbread Pumpkin Spice Shortbread – 6.5 oz, value: $6.14

I’m a sucker for shortbread, but I like it when it’s really buttery. This pumpkin spice kind didn’t blow my mind on its own, but I can really see how it’d be extra tasty with a cup of tea.

Savannah Bee Company Honey Straws – 12 pack/2.24 oz, value: $6

Honey straws are something I really like but never tend to think to buy. I’ve tried honey from this brand before and enjoyed it a lot, so I’m excited for these!

Silver Sugar Spoon – value: $3?

I couldn’t find this exact one online, so I based my value off of a set of something similar. I think it’s pretty, and it’ll look great on my tea station in my kitchen.

Metal Tea Bag Rest – value: $3

Simple, but handy! This could also be cute to display a couple bags of tea for guests, too, I think.

Fashionista Tea Organic Masala Chai – 1.6 oz (18 tea sachets), value: $13.49

I haven’t heard of this brand before, but chai tea is especially great in winter. I’m looking forward to trying it! Especially because it’s organic and fair trade.

Here’s a card with some more info about this brand. If I’m honest, I really don’t know how they make “tea meet fashion” other than to have a stiletto on the tag and pretty packaging. I’m not complaining, though – tea is tea to me!

Here’s the back of the tin, with steeping instructions.

Verdict: The value for this month’s Tea Box Express adds up to $31.63. To me, that value is okay, especially because I know I like and will use everything in the box. I think that this box tends to be more about curation than a huge value.

I really like this month’s box, makes me regret not signing up for this.

Ooh! I’ve been looking for a tea box to subscribe to. I got some tasty Adagio teas in my OwlCrate box, and I was thinking about their tea subscription. I’ll have to check out this one as well.

Also, am not sure how tea can be fashionable. Perhaps you can wear stilettos, loads of necklaces, and a faux fur coat whilst sipping this chai and rocking your baby??

Andrea – Yes, that must be exactly how to make tea fashionable! =]
And I like this sub especially because it gives you 1 tea a month but specifically for the extras like snacks and paraphernalia (except I don’t think they’ve ever sent me any mugs, which I would like to see from them). Adagio is a great brand – my sister and I like their teas a lot.

Thanks for reading!
