Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the items included:

This set comes with two different bubble wraps bags. (These are great to reuse for packaging or travel).

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil – (7.5ml/ 0.25fl.oz.) Value $10

Cute packaging! This oil is made with a blend of Clary Sage, Frankincense and Cardamom. It’s all natural, and smells wonderful. You only need to add two tiny capfuls to a bath, so I should be able to get a few uses out of it!

BY TERRY Baume De Rose Lip and Nail Balm – (3g/ 0.10oz.) Value $18

This balm works for cuticles or lips, but I prefer it for my nails. It is an instant improvement for my cuticles, and it is another scent that I love.

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial – (5ml/ 0.17 fl.oz.) Value $29

I tried this out last night, and it feels like a lightweight oil serum. I can’t say I could tell any difference in my skin this morning, but this sample should last me at least a week.

Radical Skincare Anti-Aging Restorative Moisture – (8ml/ 0.27fl.oz.)Value $24

The one problem with buying a box that samples lots of high-end brands, is that if you fall in love with any of them, you’ve just upped your monthly beauty costs! I’m struggling with that with this moisture cream. It is a super lightweight formula (almost gel-like), and I love the barely there citrus scent. Plus it is free of parabens, phthalates, etc.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm – (5ml/ 0.17fl.oz.) Value $10.50

This is another lovely smelling product (I think pretty much everything in this box smells amazing). It’s a cleanser balm that removes all makeup too.

This Works In Transit Camera Close Up – (15ml/ 0.50fl.oz.) Value $20

This product is designed to be a primer, mask and moisturizer in one. I like the idea of combining the moisturizer and primer step in my morning routine (and sorry for sounding so repetitive) but I LOVE the scent! I’ve been wearing it since this morning, and I like that it gives a bit of a dewy finish but my skin hasn’t gotten too shiny.

Ren Skincare Instant Firming Beauty Shot – (10ml/ 0.33fl.oz.)  Value $18

This is designed to be used as a base or over makeup to tighten, firm and rehydrate fine lines and wrinkles. I originally applied it as a thin layer all over my face before applying makeup just to see if I noticed any difference – I didn’t. Then after applying makeup, I applied a decent amount on the line near my mouth that really shows up when I put on makeup and it was almost like magic. The line didn’t completely go away, but it without a doubt improved to become a very fine line. (I double checked in the mirror about 20 times just to be sure). I also tried it under my eyes but didn’t really notice a difference there. Still, I’m sold on this item, and will definitely buy it again in full-size.

Now onto the big bag!

Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo – (250ml/ 8.5fl.oz.) FULL SIZE! Value $48

Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Conditioner (200ml/ 6.8fl.oz.)FULL SIZE! Value $49

These items were one of the main reasons I didn’t hesitate in buying this box! I’ve sampled Oribe hair products before, but never their shampoo and conditioner. The packaging is so luxe:

Good to know – these are color and keratin-treatment safe – Vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free.

I love the scent of these so much – they made my shower a little more like a luxe-spa! My husband Eric even wanted to try them and my first thought was “Don’t use too much of my $50 shampoo!”

Lancer The Method: Polish – (30ml/ 1.0fl.oz.) Value $18.75

This is a super-fine exfoliator. I can’t find details on how often you should use it, but it was gentle enough on my skin that I’m guessing you could use it several times a week with no issues. I also like the sample size of this one!

Joya FoxGlove Roll-On Parfum – 10ml/ 0.34fl.oz.) Value $30

This scent is described as a “blend of fresh white florals, Jasmine and White Cedar inspired by Central Park.” It’s a unisex fragrance, and not your typical perfume scent – I like it!

Philip Kingsley Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer Pre-Shampoo Treatment (75ml/ 2.53fl.oz.)  Value $26

This is an all natural hair product designed to be used before shampoo as a 20-minute treatment. I’m impressed with the sample size (it is half the size of the full-size version), and the packaging is super cute too. Hopefully I should get several uses out of this treatment.

Smith & Cult The Shining Lip Lacquer – The Queen is Dead  – (5ml/ 0.16fl.oz)FULL SIZE! Value $22

Smith & Cult seems to be everywhere lately! I’m a sucker for fancy packaging, and I like their formulas, so that’s fine by me! This lipgloss has a good amount of sheer color and shine, and almost no stickiness. (Swatched below).

Burberry Beauty Fresh Glow Highlighting Luminous Pen – 01 Nude Radiance (1.4g/ 0.04oz.) FULL SIZE! Value $37

Net-A-Porter recommends using this as “a primer for an all-over glow or brush it along your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose and Cupid’s bow.” The stick design makes this a little challenging for an all-over primer, but it is perfect (and subtle) for highlighting. (Swatched below):

111SKIN Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask (23ml/ 0.77fl.oz.) Value $32

UPDATE – I forgot this picture/item when first posting the review. This mask is designed to stimulate collagen, plus brighten and moisturize skin. Net-A-Porter recommends using it after a long-flight or before a big event.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $392. I think that is great for a $139 box – especially for these brands and products. I am seriously considering buying a second box! Also, (I know I said it way too much in this review) but everything in this box smells so good! If you are looking for a luxe beauty box for yourself or a gift, I highly recommend this one.

Plus the packaging is great for gifts! What do you think of the Net-A-Porter Holiday 2015 Beauty Kit?

  1. WOW I think I may have to splurge on this but am waiting for popsugar for her. Decsions, decisions!!

  2. My frustration continues…even though I sent them pictures of my damaged products, I got an email from Net-A-Porter saying “We have received your photographs and are currently assessing them. Our team will be in touch shortly once we have a resolution.”. I’m not asking for an entire new box, only for the products that were damaged to be replaced. They kind of made me feel like I was under some scrutiny for having complained. I had a problem with one of their boxes in the past, it was the Radical mask, I think I even posted about it on MSA, and they simply replaced it, no questions asked. I even offered to send it back to them and they declined. They had impeccable customer service. I get that they have to follow guidelines for returns, but I definitely felt odd about this one. I know shipping to Hawaii can take a beating sometimes (I’ve had plenty of banged up and broken items in multiple boxes), but I would think that they would have just offered to resend the broken items once they received my photos. UUGGHH!!! I really loved the smell of that perfume and want so much to use it!

  3. I really LOVE the perfume. I was worried it would smell too masculine being unisex, but I was obsessed with sniffing my wrists after applying it- the oil formula is really strong so a little goes a long way. I was also pleased to see the full size (gorgeous bottle btw) is also perfume oil, so I am not missing anything with the rollerball (as sometimes rollerballs apply/last differently than sprays)

  4. REALLY wanted to get this box and try the oribe shampoo and conditioner, but couldn’t find the ingredients list anywhere on the web. So, I emailed the company and they sent it to me, but both the shampoo and conditioner contain too many harmful ingredients for me to justify using them :(((

    • I too didn’t get the box because I assumed what you found out to be true. Still… if you still like all the other products, you should get the box and just use the shampoo/conditioner for swaps. I’m sure plenty of people on here would want to swap with you regardless of their ingredients.

  5. Mine came last night, but is waiting in my complex’s office as I didn’t get the notification until after they closed so I’ll pick it up today. Can’t wait to smell everything, as I’m a sucker for good smelling products, especially hair products.Really glad I ordered this one, as everything sounds amazing.

  6. I was so excited to get mine today and tore into it as soon as I got home from work… BUT… I was so disappointed to see that a few products had leaked everywhere. The rollerball perfume had leaked into the plastic tube and then overflowed into the plastic /bubble packaging and got on everything. The I opened the second bag when low and behold the REN product was leaking from a hole in the bottom. The foil seal was still intact at the top. This one made the biggest mess and got all over everything in the bag, ruining some of the other packaging. I emailed them and they ask me to send pictures, which I did, so I’ve always had really good customer service from them, so I’m expecting that they will send a replacement. I was so bummed!! Uugghh!!! I watch Net-A-Porter like a hawk for any Limited edition boxes that they release, and this is the most expensive one to date that I’ve purchased ($150 with shipping to Hawaii). Here’s to hoping their customer service remains as good as its always been. ☺

    • Oh No! Mine is due today so I am hopeful I don’t have any issues. Hopefully you will get full satisfaction.

  7. I use two different Oribe Shampoo/Conditioners and the Oribe hairspray. I wish I hadn’t started to use them as everytime I need to replace them it’s about $57 (I get a 30% discount luckily from somewhere) but it’s even more than I’d pay for Pureology!

  8. Question. Does anyone have specific feedback about the shampoo and conditioner? I’m tempted to order, mainly because of those. Is $50 shampoo really that much better?

    • Yes it is!!!! It smells amazing. A little amount goes a long way. Perfection for colored hair. I love the shampoo, conditioner and dry texturing spray. You won’t regret it. Promise. 🙂

      • Thank you!

  9. Absolutely LOVE everything in this box! So glad I splurged and now am afraid im going TJ be addicted to the shampoo and conditioner as I am with all Oribe products. NAP always has the best LE boxes! Introduces me to so many luxe brands! I wish I could afford a second box. I happen to love the parfum – side note my Allure box came today and I adore the perfume sample in that one as well. Loved the bath oil the most probably which surprised me – at first whiff I thought it was a tad bit strong but then I couldn’t stop smelling it and it did calm me down magically enough! Im like you and think everything smells divine. Can’t say enough great things about this box! :-))

  10. Mine came yesterday– love everything!!!

The unisex perfume was a little musky for my taste so I gifted it to 18yo son. He likes it 🙂

Liz: When we all got the Baume de Rose last year (in N-a-P? PS? I forget…) I fell in love with it and bought a full size. But then, as I recall, somebody looked up the ingredients and found Bad Things. Do you remember that? How do you feel about the ingredients??

    • Just looked up the ingredients. I wish that it didn’t have parabens, so I’ll use this sample, but won’t buy in full-size.

My general take on cosmetics ingredients is that I like to buy items that are free of parabens and phthalates when possible. I’m not 100% avoiding them, but I think I’m generally doing a good job (and not getting too stressed about it).

I love Biore pore strips for example (and they have parabens) but I have yet to find a better alternative so I use them!

      • Thanks Liz! I believe I also will use the sample but not buy the full size. Sadly.

        • An alternative that is paraben free is RL Linden and Co’s La Balmba Rosa healing rose balm. I received it in one of Goodebox’s Night of Green Beauty limited edition boxes and it’s fantastic.

    • Baume de Rose was in the Birchbox Vanity Affair box, I think. Right?

      • Yep!

  11. I am sceared how much I liked the shampoo :))) I tried Inner strength bath and shower oil too and my skin is so soft, like a baby one :))) tomorrow more stuff to try 🙂 But wasnt big fan of JOYA parfum, if somebody loves it, maybe we can swap.

  12. Wow, could not resist after reading this review! They had me at full size Oribe, plus I love the Baume de Rose balm. Everything else will be a luxury treat to try out or nice gift giving! Thanks for the great review, as always Liz! 🙂

    • Glad to hear the review was helpful! I hope you love this box as much as I do! 🙂

  13. Liz,
My credit card companies love you 🙂

    • Eek! 🙂

  14. Did your box not include the 111SKIN mask?

    • Ah! I totally forgot that picture – adding it now. Thank you!

      • Oh good. I was afraid they’d left it out.

  15. I loved this box so much…I just ordered a second one.

  16. Ahhhh I am having such a hard time resisting this box but I know the popsugar holiday box is coming out soon and I’m trying to save money for a trip I’m going on and Christmas ahhh!! I love Lancer products since that one that came in the popsugar box last year. Dr Lancer actually wrote a book called Younger it was very interesting. He says you should exfoliate everyday so you can probably use it daily. He has a method which I have been doing and my skin has been so much better! He also gives alternative cheaper products to use which is nice so you don’t feel like he is just promoting his products ?

    • Tara –

Thanks for the info – I can’t wait to check out that book! I, too, fell in love with his products way back when Glossy and Bergdorf’s had a collab, and had to get this box as soon as I saw that signature blue packaging in the announcement picture.

  17. New York + $12.34 tax (and New Jersey). So sticking w/ my original thought and skipping it. Looks great though.

  18. I just received mine. What a treat! The shampoo and conditioner smell heavenly. I am getting a few more for holiday gifting. 🙂

  19. I was trying to be good, but between your review and full size ORIBEs I caved in. Can’t wait for it!!!!

  20. I got one after seeing your review. I can’t wait to try the shampoo!

  21. OMG wow! I bought this immediately upon reading this review! What a fantastic box full of fun goodies I would probably never have tried. Some of the brands I’ve used but all of the products are new, luxurious and special. Loveeeeee this box.

    • I hope you love it! It is such a treat! 🙂

    • Yay – glad you loved it too!!
