Kloverbox is a natural and organic beauty and lifestyle subscription box. I’m all about these types of subscription boxes, so I look forward to Kloverbox every month!

Check out all of my KloverBox reviews!

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included. Also, most brands include a coupon code to save more on their products.

Red Flower Italian Blood Orange Refreshing Hand & Face Towelette – Value $.70

Wanderlust Italian Blood Orange Refreshing Hand & Face Towelette – Value $.70

I was a little surprised to see that these were the only beauty items in the box! I like both of the scents. The Blood Orange is a refreshing citrus scent, and the Wanderlust is a more masculine, earthy scent.

Foxy & Winston Artichoke Dish Towel – Value $16

Foxy & Winston is new to me, and I love this artichoke print. I haven’t decided yet if I’m keeping it or using it as a hostess gift!

Goodie Girl Cookies – Value $1

These are gluten free (not dairy free, though), but my husband got to enjoy them!

Bee’s Wrap Sandwich Wrap – Value $10

Here is the wrap itself:

Love the print! This is an item that isn’t a perfect fit for me, (don’t pack lunches often) but it will be swapped or gifted.

Verdict: I’m not sure what to make of Kloverbox this month. I know it is a mix of beauty and lifestyle items, but this is the first box I can think of that was almost entirely lifestyle items. The value is on the lower end for Kloverbox too – about $27.50. I should mention that last month’s Kloverbox was my favorite box ever from them, so it may just be the case that no box can follow that one to rave reviews!

What do you think of the October Kloverbox?

  1. I read on their facebook page that the box would be late due to having to replace an item that had issues. They also stated the value would be low. I am guessing that was also due to the product issue they had.

I still like this box cause overall it has been amazing. The late shipping isn’t really an issue for me either. I have other boxes to entertain me till it arrives. Maybe I have too many ;-0

However, the renewal process does seems to be all over the place. I had a 6 month subscription that did not auto renew. No idea what is going on there.

  2. This was the box that put the nail in the coffin for me. I have product overload to begin with and was about to cancel but this solidified my decision. Worth noting, if you sign up for a sub. it does not automatically create an account, so you may have to take additional steps to cancel. I ended up messaging them on FB after giving up trying on the website. The service was iffy, the process too complicated to communicate and I’m just over late boxes. I received Yuzen yesterday, and I think their quarterly box is all I need for a beauty sub from here on out. Plus it’s a Colorado company and never has been late.

  3. I had a six month subscription to Kloverbox and while I loved it, I did not renew because it was mostly beauty products and I have a lot to use. I didn’t get this box, but it’s nice to see them cover their stated “beauty, lifestyle, nutrition and healthy home products.” This is more the type of box I was expecting to receive.

I do agree that the shipping/billing timing needs work. On the other side of the coin, the 6 month subscription does not automatically renew and I didn’t receive any kind of notice or reminder to reorder, which I found odd.

    • Ditto to your entire comment!

I’m likely interested in a Black Friday deal if they have one… But I am hoping that they keep up the trend of more lifestyle items. I like being introduced to natural beauty brands, but when those are the main contents of the box I just can’t use them up fast enough.

  4. This was my least favorite Kloverbox. I do like the wipes — I keep them in my gym bag, and the fact that they’re one-use foil wraps works well for that purpose. I like the towel print, too. Other than that, it’s just kind of meh.

  5. In all fairness, I don’t think anything would compare to last month’s Kloverbox. I ordered it as a one time box and it was beyond the best ever. The value was great and the products were great (even though I’m not sure if I’ll use the oil – the OLO skin savior is the best thing ever). Box values are always going to vary and at least this one is above the monthly cost. Even if you don’t like 1 or 2 or 3 of the items, you can either swap for something that is more your taste or use items as gifts. And at least they’re not inflating values of the items to increase the overall box’s value.
As far as the shipping goes, maybe they should just say that they’ll ship at the end of the month?… I don’t know really I guess. But at least it seems everyone gets theirs at about the same time. I get impatient when it seems like some people get their boxes a week or two before me… then I have to wait, which I’m not very good at.

I do see why this might not be everyone’s favorite Kloverbox, probably wouldn’t be either – but that’s only bc nothing will beat last month for me (not even if they put a gold bar or diamonds in it). I do think the towel is really cute though! And the cookies sound good too!

    • probably wouldn’t be *mine* either… trying to do too many things at once I guess

  6. To cancel a recurring subscription with Kloverbox you must cancel prior to the “anniversary” of your subscription purchase–no exceptions, believe me I contacted Kloverbox and got nowhere on this. This is a really discouraging practice, because this box almost always ships late (sometimes up to 3 weeks after the shipping window described on their site, and into the following month) and so you will pay for another subscription that autorenews for the same length as the subscription you originally purchased (3, 6 or 12 month) before fulfillment of your current subscription. There are no renewal reminders to subscribers or anything prompting you to take action to cancel. FYI.

  7. This was my first box and I’m really disappointed. First, I prepaid for 6 months in September. and they already took my money but I didn’t get anything until November. I am so bummed, regretting I signed up for 6 months now. I hope next months box will be better. I was really excited about this subscription but now I’m having regrets. This wasn’t a good value at all and nothing I could use. If anyone wants to buy this box let me know, mine is still brand new all in the box.

    • Take home lesson – start new subscriptions month-to-month, then if it looks like you are meant to be together, cancel that and sign up for a longer term. I’m bitter about this one as well although it does seem that this box was not typical of Kloverbox.

  8. Glad I didn’t get this one. I feel like they could’ve done an awesome one for October but this is just meh to me. The value is just too low that if you dislike 1 thing the entire box isn’t worth it.

  9. I would have hated this one if it had been my first, but with the previous boxes being such high value I’m giving them a pass. I got a cute hedgehog towel, so that’s great.

If you want to cancel, make sure you cancel early, bc I hadn’t even gotten my second box of a three month sub and was billed for another three months!!! I think November is my last month w them. I’d renew bc most of the boxes have been great but am on overload right now.

    • Thank you for the heads up about cancelling early! This was my first box in a three-month sub, and I think it’s ridiculous to send out boxes routinely late while certainly not being late about billing for subscription renewals. I would’ve been really disappointed if I tried to cancel and had already been billed.

  10. The sandwich bag looks pretty awesome. I have been wanting something like that lately cause i hate all the waste from packing my husband’s lunch in a new zip lock baggie everyday.

  11. Kloverbox used to be my favorite box, but I’m not so sure these days. Seems more like a $15 box now. 🙁

  12. Most Kloverboxes have a much higher value. But, for me part of the “value” is being introduced to companies and products I would not find on my own. I really liked this month’s box and know that some months will be better than others. I recd the artichoke print, too–in green. It’s perfect for my Mom and is going in her Cmas stocking. I would have LOVED the purple shade you recd–my kitchen has purple accents.

  13. I think it is worth noting that this subscription is ALWAYS LATE. I know that you note chronic lateness or late shipping in your other reviews (I.e. glossy box), but haven’t seen that noted with Kloverbox reviews. I had a 3 month subscription that auto-renewed, charging me for an additional three months, weeks prior to Kloverbox even shipping me my final month on the original subscription). I immediately (within 1 day of the auto-renew) contacted Kloverbox in an attempt to cancel the auto-renewed 3 month subscription and was told “sorry,” no refunds and then waited another 2-3 weeks to even receive my final box from my original 3 month subscription. I generally liked my boxes, but I think what I’ve described above is poor customer service–Had kloverbox been more accommodating and handled this differently, I likely would have continued my subscription. I did not renew after receiving 6 months of Kloverbox, almost all of which were 1-3+ weeks late in arriving! You can look at the Kloverbox Facebook page and track how many apologies they have posted for late boxes (for whatever reason). This is a nice box with a mix of beauty and lifestyle items that I enjoyed, but I think it is only fair to point out some of the problems that a regular subscriber will experience.

    • I agree! They have the worst shipping, this is the main reason why I cancelled.

    • Great I signed up for a 3 month sub last month and they said my subscription would start with November’s box, but I guess I won’t get it till mid-December. I hate when boxes ship so late, half the reason I don’t like Glossybox.

    • I agree 100%. The way they bill is terrible– I ended up paying for two months of boxes before ever receiving one because of the late shipping issue. And I’ll also agree that while I generally liked the boxes, overall they have poor customer service. I emailed twice through the site, once via facebook message, once on the facebook wall, and then finally received a response when I found a direct email. Was definitely not impressed.

  14. The items themselves were ok….but the value of the overall box was too low. I took out a 6 month subscription and this was box 4 for me. If the next 2 boxes don’t wow me, I will not be renewing. Too many other boxes out there with better values.

  15. Defiently not worth 25$. A towel , cookies, and the dreaded foil packets ?
I don’t get the sandwich wrap is it reusable ?
    Passing up on this one

    • The sandwich wrap is reusable. I thought it would be cool when I first saw it, but it’s a really weird, sticky texture, so I didn’t keep it. I’ll continue to use my plastic sandwich box instead.

The foil packets are single use wipes, so the packaging seems appropriate in this case. Would have been nice to get more than two though.
