Dottie Box Mini Subscription Box Review October 2015 - items 1

Elephant Wish Bracelet – value: $7.99

Wish bracelets are cute ideas: you’re supposed to make a wish when you tie it on and the bracelet will eventually break, and that’s when your wish is supposed to come true.

Black Dahlia Nail Lacquer in Bue Green Earth – 8 ml, value: $7

I’m pretty sure this shade is exclusive to Dottie Box. Black Dahlia polishes are 5-free, which I like (that means they don’t contain DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor.)

POSH Skincare Lip Balm - .5 oz, value: $7

This balm is really nice, and smells very fresh and clean (eucalyptus and lemon). However, I have a thing about lip balms in pots where I’m supposed to use my fingers to apply… I don’t want whatever is on my hands to end up in my mouth! I’ll be swapping this or pass it along.

Here’s a swatch of what the polish looks like. This is just one coat!

The Verdict: The value of this month’s mini Dottie Box comes out to $21.99, which is fine. The items this month aren’t a huge hit for me, personally, but that’s just my personal preferences.

What do you think about this month’s mini Dottie Box?

I’ve never gotten a Dottiebox but always enjoy looking at the reviews and fun products. Of all the ones I’ve seen, this would be my favorite! I love all 3 items. 🙂

I would love to swap for the lip balm!

Did the definition of wish on the card seem super depressing to anyone else? “feel or express a strong desire or hope for something that is not attainable, want something that can not or probably will not happen”. But… But…but I want my wishes to come true.

I read your comment about lip balm in a jar. I agree with you completely. There are too many in tubes to choose from. Don’t know if this will be breaking any rules or not but Burt’s Bees is the best.
