This mystery box is no longer available, but I’ll post the next time Citrus Lane offers mystery boxes.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Citrus Lane Mystery Box Review - items 1

IPlay Reversible Sun Protection Bucket Hat – value: $15

This hat provides UPF 50+ sun protection, is reversible for 2 different patterns, and it ties under the baby’s chin to help it stay on. This hat and shirt are as size that should work for my son next summer, so I’m looking forward to trying them out then!

IPlay Short Sleeve Navy Rashguard Shirt – value: $16

This shirt also has UPF 50+, and I’m glad to have things like this to help protect my son’s skin in the summer.

Citrus Lane Mystery Box Review - items 2

Hape Little Dump Truck in Green – value: $9.99

This dump truck is made with maple wood and encourages development of physical and fine motor skills. Plus, it’s really cute!

Green Toys Pig on Wheels – value: $12.99

This toy is made in the USA from 100% recycled plastic milk jugs that save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emission.

Crocodile Creek 5” Rubber Ball – value: $9.99

I had forgotten about rubber balls like this, but since I have one, I’m really excited about playing with it when he gets old enough to roll or kick it! It’s nice that it’s a toy that can help us introduce him to loving outside and having fun with physical activity one day.

Verdict: The value of this Citrus Lane Mystery box comes out to $63.97, which is great for a citrus lane box. I’m glad that this box provided me with some things that will be really useful/practical and also fun.

I ordered two Mystery Boxes. One was for a preschool aged girl with the watch. The other was for a gender-neutral baby (as we didn’t know the gender of our new baby yet). The preschool girl box with the watch came with a few other items: some kind of a wrist band that glows, a copy of the book Little Pea, a marker/coloring book set, and Eric Carle’s garland. Since we already have the book and marker/coloring set, we will likely regift them to my niece, but I know my daughter will enjoy everything else. The baby box was my FAVORITE, with 7 items ranging from stackers to a glove toy to a little car toy and even a shampoo and lotion sample. I’d say that if you already have a subscription, be aware that you will likely get repeated items, but if you don’t have a subscription, the boxes will be completely worth it! I’m really disappointed Citrus Lane is shutting down its service. They claim they are looking at transitioning it somehow, but I think they are completely going to shut down based on how many products are left in the shop and how several items are on sale. I did order $200 + worth of goodies for my new baby and my daughter yesterday and saved 20% using the code (available only through November 6). I sure hope that someone else starts up a new company or they do transition somehow. I really loved the quality of the products each month!

I am getting emails from Citrus Lane with incentives to sign up for a subscription. Not sure what that is about.
