This simple info card comes in each box, listing the names of each pair (unfortunately, it doesn’t tell me which pair is which).

Sun Of A Chic Subscription Box Review October 2015 - item 1

(If I had to guess, I would think this pair is the “technologic” inspired sunglasses.)

This pair is super mirrored, so enjoy a nice view of my arm and curtains! I really like this pair. They’re funky and different but cute.

Sun Of A Chic Subscription Box Review October 2015 - item 2

This pair is definitely one that I wouldn’t pick out for myself, but I actually really dig. I like that they’re different than any other pair I’ve owned.

Verdict: My first impression of Sun of a Chic is pretty fun! Both pairs are different than I would ever pick up for myself, so it was really fun finding out that I actually like both of these! As far as quality goes, these don’t quite feel like sunglasses that will last you forever, but they’re still good. Besides, getting new pairs every month (with a pretty low price point) means they don’t have to. The box arriving a little smashed up worries me some because the glasses weren’t in a hard case, but fortunately they weren’t damaged at all.

These are both inspired by popular styles of Dior sunglasses, but at a fraction of the price…

I have been wanting a pair of the Dior So Real sunglasses but can’t justify the price. Both pairs look great. Can you tell me about the fit? Are these for a small face? Do the temples have spring joints? Love your review & psyched about this box!

Hilary, they fit me really well and I’d have to say I think I have an average-sized face? I don’t tend to find frames to generally feel either large or small on me. Also, I know that the first pair (which is like the Dior “so real” sunglasses) has barrel hinges, not spring and I’m pretty sure the other pair does too (they’re out in my car right now).

Hope this helps! Thanks for reading!

Whoa! Those are cool!

This sounds like a really neat sub, especially considering my amazing ability to both break and lose sunglasses . And both pairs look adorable on you!

Thank you, Carrie! And I’m the same way. It always seems like if I don’t scratch up a pair, I lose it!

You look gorgeous in both pairs! They seem to be on trend. I really like this concept for subscription box, however, I only wear prescription glasses not contacts to wear them with.
