Citrus Lane is a subscription box for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. (They customize your box to your child’s age and gender). The box I’m reviewing today is for a newborn (gender neutral). I just had my first baby, Gideon, on September 2nd!

ABC IS FOR CIRCUS by Patrick Hruby – value: $9.95

This is a cute book – I love the art style. Detail shots below!

Aden and Anais Classic Issie Security Blanket – value: $11

I love the quality of Aden and Anais products, and this is a sweet, gender-neutral print.

I think the art style is really interesting!

Mrs. Meyer’s Basil Dish Soap – 2 fl oz,, value: $.50

Boon Fleet Bath Toys – value: $11.99

These bath toys won’t be fun for my son for a couple of months, so I’ll be holding onto these before I break them out for a little bit.

The Verdict: This month of Citrus Lane is okay. The value of this Citrus Lane box comes out to $33.44 which I’m not super happy with. The fact that the value barely breaks even is a little disappointing. I like the items, but I wouldn’t pay $30 for it all. We’ll see how next month goes.

I’ve just started getting this box for my 2 year old son and I couldn’t be happier. They send me really great items! This month I got a really high quality super hero cape, a Melissa & Doug water coloring book, adorable monkey socks, a coupon for 2 free months of groovebook and the Mrs. Meyers sample. Overall the value is right about what I paid for the box but the items are so cute and my son loves opening this box that I’ll continue to get it. But they do need to add another item to make it a must have box.

I only ordered for one month. I wasn’t terribly impressed by the reviews I’d seen, but thought I’d give them a try. My box was just ok, so I cancelled. I just feel like the value isn’t there.

I got a box for a 19 month old boy, and I was highly dissapointed this month. I’ve been getting citrus Lane for about 6 months now and this was the first box I didn’t like. I got a plastic blow fish that squirts water (squirts toys collect mold- going to have to toss it after a few uses), two wash cloths (I just got rid of all of his baby wash cloths), the book (which I love), and the dish soap (which I’m excited to try). I wouldn’t pay $30 for a book and a dish soap sample. I usually LOVE citrus Lane though, so hopefully next mini that is better or I will be canceling.
