BumpBoxes is a monthly subscription box for mothers and expecting mothers. They guarantee to protect you and your baby by sending safe products that are natural, good-for-you, or don’t have any potentially harmful chemicals.

I just had my first baby, Gideon, on September 2nd!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Bump Boxes Subscription Box Review & Coupon October 2015 - info 1

Each BumpBox has a focus or theme. This month (for me) is all about just enjoying and savoring this time with my newborn! (And they’re right – my newborn IS seriously adorable! Haha)

BumpBoxes just started a rewards program! You can review each item in your boxes for 10 points each, plus you earn a point per dollar when you buy something from their store. Every 100 points gets you $10 in the store.

I’m super excited about this because it looks like they set their points system up just like BirchBox’s! To me, BirchBox has the best points system out there and I know that it alone has been a main reason that many people stay subscribed to and love BirchBox. I think this will do really well for BumpBoxes and I believe it’s quite a smart move to set their system up like this!

Adiri Nurser Fast Flow – Value: $11.99

I’m excited about this bottle. It’s designed by a bunch of experts like lactation consultants, engineers, scientists, moms (most importantly), and more to support an easy transition from the mother’s breast to bottle. It’s BPA free, dishwasher (top rack) safe, and has a one-way valve in the bottom to allow consistent air flow to help reduce air consumption and colic.

Adiri Nurser Nipple Slow Flow – $4.99

Including an extra nipple was a very thoughtful thing for them to do. The bottle comes with a fast flow nipple, and this is a slow flow one so you can see which works best for your baby (not to mention he may need the slow flow now but do better with the fast flow when he’s older).

Dr. Brown’s Pacifier & Bottle Wipes – 30 count (Full Size!), value: $3.99

These wipes are something I was totally thinking I needed to get! Washing a pacifier is a pain and hard to do if you’re out and about. This pack is great to throw in my diaper bag!

Logan & Lenora Organic Cotton Burp Cloth Set in Fine Fox – 2 pack (Full Size!), value: $22

For some reason the Fine Fox set on their site includes a different second pattern than the triangle one I have, but I love geometric prints so I’m happy with the one I have. This is yet another item I definitely needed to get (I apparently underestimated the number of burp cloths I’d need!) so I’m thrilled to have them!

Here’s what the burp cloths look like opened up. They’re really soft and a great size.

Lucky Palm Tree Organic Baby Mittens in Bicycle – value: $9.99

Personally, I think $10 for a pair of baby mittens is an inflated value but these are definitely cute. It’s funny – I actually ended up with a handful of baby mittens from my shower and haven’t ever used them. My baby doesn’t tend to scratch himself unless he gets really, really upset. However, these are way cute. I may gift these to my sister-in-law, who’s due in December.

Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer, Fragrance Free – 1.69 oz (on-the-go size), value: $4.79

I like this brand, and I can always use more hand sanitizer to throw in my bag!

Happy Mama Prenatal Nourishing Fruit + Veggie Blend, Appl + Carrot with Soothing Ginger – 4 oz, value: $4.99?

I’m having a hard time finding this item actually for sale online so I had to guess the value. This item is apparently designed for still-pregnant women, but I don’t see why breastfeeding moms couldn’t have it, as well. Personally, I think I’ll feel weird, as if I’m eating baby food! I guess I’ll have to try it, though!

Verdict: This is yet another month of BumpBoxes that I love. Somehow they always seem to send me things I’ve already been thinking that I need to go buy, and I’m really excited about everything they sent me. The value of everything adds up to $62.74, which I’m happy with!

I feel like I’m eating baby food whenever I have a snack in a pouch. (The only reason I ever have snacks in pouches in the first place is because I get them in subscription boxes…)
