Tea Box Express Subscription Box Review September 2015 - items 1

Apple Tea Infuser – value: $13.40

Tea Box Express includes tea infusers quite often. Unfortunately, I don’t use them all that often, so this will be swapped. I think it’s cute with the theme, though. (However, this does look to be the highest-value item in the box, and I’m kind of bummed about that.)

Roni-Sue Caramel Apple Corn – full-size, value: $6

This is my favorite thing in this month’s box! This mix is delicious. My husband tried it and warned me that this bag wouldn’t last the rest of the week!

Full Leaf Tea Company Cinnamon Apple Spice Tea – 2 oz, value: $8

I love tea in the fall, and this blend smells amazing. I’m keeping it out on the counter so I remember to brew some once we get a cooler day here.

Fruute Salted Caramel Cookies – 3-cookie pack, value: $4.10

These cookies are super buttery shortbread cookies with a crispy caramel glaze on top and sea salt sprinkled on top. Holy cow, these are delicious. I’m a sucker for shortbread cookie. I think they’re pretty pricey, but they’re gourmet and I can tell the quality is there. This pack didn’t last long after the photos!

Grandma Mac’s Caramels – 3 pieces

I don’t personally like plain solid caramel, so these will get passed along to my sister. I like the idea of including caramels in this box, though! I love that Tea Box Express includes treats and such in addition to a tea mix every month.

Tea Box Express also included some coupons and promo codes for some of the brands featured in this month’s box.

The Verdict: The value for this month’s Tea Box Express adds up to $32.50. I’m not thrilled with that value, especially because the infuser I won’t use is almost half that, but I am glad to have found a couple new (amazing) treats. I think that this box tends to be more about great curation than a huge value.

Those cookies were super delish! I wanted to order some, but they are a bit too pricey for me at $12.50 for 9 cookies.

I think the tea strainer is super duper cute, but I already have so many strainers. I put mine up for swap, too.

I brewed some of the tea last night to eat with the cookies. Yum!

If you’re not going to use your discount code, can you post it here? I really wanna try their cookies.

I have a discount code too that I’m not using, but not sure if it’s the same. It’s “TEABOX” and expires 12/01/15. It’s for the Fruute cookies (and other things on their website), which are small but really yummy.
