Also included was a sneak peek at the spoiler item for October!

Freeman Goji Berry Hydration Facial Mask - .5 fl oz, value: $1.29

Freeman Pink Grapefruit Exfoliating Facial Mask - .5 fl oz, value: $1.29

These little single-use mask packets are great for traveling or (my personal favorite) girls nights. These bring back some nostalgia for me!

Sunglasses – value: $10?

These shades are really cute and the shape works for my face! I also love the purple. The info card lists a value of “$10-$25” for these so I’m wondering if they sent some variety of sunglasses.

Here’s the sides – I love the lace detail.

Brass Peacock Necklace – value: $10?

Triangle Weave Studs – value: $9.99?

(The info card has one value for both of these items so I split it to get these values.) This necklace is pretty different and I love the colors. Also, these small, silver studs are just my style.

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo – 1.7 oz, value: $3.99

Blue Skies Umbrella – value: $29.99

Dry shampoo is one of my must-haves, so I’m always happy to have more!

I couldn’t find an umbrella I was 100% sure was this one, but you can find many similar ones online. This was the spoiler item for this month – I like it! I actually definitely needed a new umbrella at the moment. The outside is black, but the inside has a blue sky and cloud pattern on it. I couldn’t get a good photo myself, but below, you can see it as it’s featured on the info card.

This is what the umbrella looks like on the inside/when opened!

The Verdict: This is my first Peaches and Petals box, and I really liked it! I know I’ll use everything in the box, so that’s a win for me. The value of everything adds up to $66.55-$81.55 (the range is from the variant in the value for the sunglasses), which is awesome for a $15 box!

Got my Oct box and I am VERY disappointed. The free bonus item is great (the bag) and that is where it ends. There is a magnet that is cute (but it is about drinking so if u don’t drink not cute to you). There is a face cream, good size but I don’t know the brand. Then there is a sally nail polish (super boring) and the worst is a smashbox eyeshadow trio but mine came completely smashed. Have no ideas what the colors were bc it is now one color. I AM SO NOT HAPPY. And they just charged me full price for NOV. I would be so much more upset if I paid $15 for this but at $7.50 the quality is poor. Presentation of box was nice though.

Right?!? I think I’m pretty forgiving with cheaper sub boxes but what a dud. My beauty items were also totally scuffed/beaten up. The tote bag is cute but obviously leftover ‘free gift with purchase’ stock. I’m kinda pissed because the previous month’s have looked like such fun curration. I’ll give peaches and petals another month but I’m kind of hoping for a semi-negative MSA review to feel justified in my pissiness ?

I’m going to give this a try. Thanks for the coupon code! ! This will be monthly box number 16!! Subscription box addict maybe, lol!! Is this a new sub box?

ME TOO!! I’m out of control…I started with Ipsy, and now I subscribe to Birchbox, Julep, PopSugar, FabFitFun, Scent Bird, GlossyBox, BoxyCharm, and a few others….I need some kind of intervention! =/

I LOVE THESE THINGS.

Might have to add this one too…completely confirming, I have an addiction. 🙂 ha

Thanks for the great review and coupon. Now I NEED this box too:)

Interesting, different. I’m going to live vicariously through you for a bit and keep watching the unveiling of this sub. I’ve got my hands full and can’t take on another. I’m intrigued because although there are no superstar WoW items everything you posted I thought, “hmm, yea, I would use that. Yea, I like that” so I would be pleased to receive these lil gifts now if someone else would foot the bill they’d feel more like a gift. 😉

I passed my box onto my sister who loved it enough that she ordered her own September box. The necklace is perfect for her. She loves peacocks. I also did the add-on for the purse and a 1930s book about kissing. It’s a fun book 🙂

I had no problems with the sunglasses being repackaged in a different branded case. It protected them from shipping. The face masks I received were made in the USA. I was amazed by the amount of items in the box.

I decided not to continue the box. My sister is very excited and can’t wait for her September box. I can see my sister enjoying the box each month because of the variety. I’m not aware of another box that provides this type of variety for the same pricepoint.

Jodi

There is a discount code PEACH15. Just used it to order one and got my first box for 7.49!!! Hope in get the Sept. Box!! I need that umbrella in my life!!!

I am such a sucker. I had to order this. Looks like a fun box at a reasonable price.

This is such a cute box! I’m really tempted. I just wish there was a way to subscribe for longer than one month at a time. I like to pay things off in chunks, so I don’t have to deal with tons of little payments from different sources every month.

Bonny

Well, I just had to read this post. I had to sub to this box. Your reviews are killing my bank account, lol. Will I receive this box or start in October? Does anybody know?

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

I love the tote that we will get in the October box so I ordered! TY for the discount code !

I’ve joined many monthly boxes and this the ONLY “beauty / style” one that I didn’t cancel after the first box. (I have kept another dog one and a misc one). I was tired of getting chintzy little samples that I was way overpaying for, when I could get most of them free in stores. Anyway, I love this one (so far anyways). Not to mention the variety was meh. I also like that I can add items to my next box for a discount. All the others I’ve sub’d to so far just have a “like this? well then we have it for you at full price.” Sorry, but I’m cheap. I like a lot for my dollar, and this just fits me 🙂 Hopefully they don’t change in the amount they send you. I will be very bummed, because so far I’m excited for each box!

The Elizabeth Arden tote for October was a free gift with purchase in 2013.

Reply ButtonReply

Judi

That was my first thought, too, and a Google search confirmed that it was a 2013 gift with purchase, and one that was made for Elizabeth Arden and not by them (so not like a Vera Bradley key chain that was a gift with purchase with a VB purse). Not really understanding this sub; the stuff seems random and actually more like a Kohl’s haul than vintage.

Eventually im going to have to start hiding subs under my bed so the hubby doesn’t see. Looks like im adding another one to the already growing list. Thank goodness I do our bills (or maybe not). Lol

I love my first peaches and petals box, I will definitely be using everything that came in it, looking forward to Oct box now. I think this one is gonna get popular.

Ariel

I’ve been subscribed to this box for a few months now and I absolutely love it! Even if you don’t love everything in the box it is still well worth it for the amount of items you get. I can’t wait to see what I get next month!

That umbrella is so cute!

Sam

This sub looks really cool. I’ll have to try it in the future.

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

I had no idea Herbal Essences made a dry shampoo. Does anyone know how well it works?

Reply ButtonReply

Cristina

I use it. I like it a lot, it works a lot better than the Tresemme one.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

I’ve tried the Treseme one, myself, and I’m not a fan. I prefer the Dove dry shampoo, but the Herbal Essences one is pretty good, too. I don’t think I’ve thrown out a dry shampoo yet.

Sara

Sept will be my 2nd box with them and I have been pleasantly surprised. Yeah the things in it are not high quality, but for $15 who cares. My 14yr old loves the jewelry, it won’t last forever, but it is perfect for her to accessorize her outfit of the day! I am on beauty item overload at the moment so I love that this box does not rely heavily on those products, and what we can’t use can be passed to one of my daughter’s teenage friends!

I signed up. It looks like a box of FUN at a very reasonable price.

I have that necklace! I only paid $5-$8 for it when I bought it but it’s probably my most commented on piece of jewelry. Every time I wear it people tell me they love it, ask where i got it, and assume it’s vintage.

Reply ButtonReply

Brooke

Tempted. Loathe the jewelry but the rest is cute…

Benita

I find it odd that the sunglasses are branded Sofia Vergera (her brand is sold at K-Mart) and the bag they came in says Nine & Co. (I believe a JCPenney house brand?). That’s kind of shady to repackage cheap sunglasses. I get that this is a $15 box so I guess you get what you pay for, but everything looks like low-quality clutter to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

I must have lucked out – my sunglasses were a 35$ pair of J Lo’s.

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

The sunglasses I received actually had a CVS price tag on them and were in a Nine &Co bag. I don’t think they are trying to trick us into thinking we received Nine&Co sunglasses since they left the tag on the sunglasses. It just has that kind of flea market feel of buy these shades and I’ll put them in this bag that I have in bulk.
