  1. So… this was my 1st Burke Decor home… still have not received (in transit). But if this is the August box and it is 9/27 does that mean there are not spoilers for September? what is the deadline to order Sept box and still receive. Did not have a good experience purchasing from the site and Aug box is so delayed, i am hesitant to get another monthly without a spoiler. Any one have any clue how it works?

    • They have been shipping boxes at the end of the month. They have been arriving the last couple days of the month. It used to be that the last day of the month was the cutoff. I don’t know if it’s true anymore.

      It’s my opinion that they are trying to move away from spoilers because of logistics. I discontinued my subscription with them so I can’t really speak about September.

    • I was wondering the same thing, so I just opened up online chat, and was told that the boxes had been discontinued!!!! So disappointed(:

      • False alarm! got another comment in my chat, just the August box is discontinued as of Sept 6. They are taking orders for the September box, but the August box I had ordered was a one time purchase. So I think if you ordered the August box in September when it became available again, and you want to get September and subsequent boxes, you need to sign up for that. Sorry for any confusion

  3. Got my box today! So excited to go home and use the awesome throw!

    I got the grey one from Pine Cone Hill (But I also never got the email saying they were out of grey)

  4. Finally got an email notification that my box shipped! So excited!

    • me too! I think they just needed to restock. It’s ok, I’d rather wait than not get one!

  6. i have not received my box yet either, ordered on 8/31. I hope it’s coming soon!

    • I contacted customer service yesterday. They do not have the necessary inventory to fulfill the orders that they have received. This is after being told (twice) that it would be shipped out by last week at the latest. They could not give a date for when they would ship the boxes. I am contemplating canceling my order, as it bothers me that they sold stuff that they had no idea when they could procure it to sell it. And although I do love how they put the items together & I have heard that the quality is great, I feel like I could find similar items – probably at the same price point – it I was willing to put a little effort into it.

  7. Has anyone received this August Box since they had made it available again?

    • No, and I haven’t heard a thing since the original order confirmation. When i log in it says order status is unfulfilled. I ordered the blanket as a housewarming gift, and now I’m getting a little nervous about actually getting it….

      • Me too, I ordered on 9/5 and it’s still showing “unfulfilled”. I did order from them in July during a 50% off (non sub box) sale, and it took about three weeks for them to ship everything to me.

  8. I did not get that email but I ordered on the 31st before they offered the box again so here’s hoping I get the grey. My order still is processing though so I hope that is really the case. I also ordered a few other items for holiday gifting as well.

  9. Did anyone else receive this from Burke Decor? I received it a couple minutes ago and actually responded with a request to cancel my order. I have no need for a stark white blanket sadly.

    • egad no…. i hope i don’t a white throw would be a nightmare. The grey is still up for sale on website. I would maybe ask how they are over sold but still have for regular purchase. Alternatively ask if you could sub another throw of similar value…. see if there is one you like in the same ballpark on cost? Never hurts to ask

      • thanks for the ideas! there don’t appear to be any other throws in a similar price point, but I did ask about the availability of the grey throw since it’s still available for sale on the site. we’ll see what they say!

      • Got a response from Burke Decor:

        “We just found out and have sent the updates to our tech team to change the site. It should be updated soon!”

        Not exactly what I was hoping for. Went ahead and cancelled my order.

    • I got the same email and requested to canceled as well, a white blanket will not last very long in my house.

      • Also, I asked if I could get another throw at the same price or exchange for a different item/color when I received it but they said no my only option is to cancel.

        • If anyone is interested they just emailed me today and offered a different grey throw in place of the white one that’s the same price. Im happy with this option so I’m not going to cancel.

          • I got the same email! I still love the platinum color, but at least this isn’t white. I went for it! 🙂

    • I am hoping they really are emailing and letting everyone know who isn’t getting the grey throw…. i am going to be highly annoyed if my box shows up and it’s white

  10. Just ordered and added another mug that says ‘sweetie’ – perfect housewarming gift for my nephew and his wife who just bought their first house. Now I’m trying to contain myself from ordering another box to keep! 🙂

    • Burke Box actually posted this info to the discussion on the spoilers post, and I got an email from them because I’d chatted with them on their site and requested to be notified if they made any more available. Definitely real! (:

  13. caved bought one after reading your review. ALSO bought some sale stuff… Pashmina normally $22. I got on sale $7.20 plus 20% off with code calculus…. Could I really walk away when less than $6? Code expires midnight ET tonight.

  14. ordered one now! I am powerless when it comes to comfy fleece throws. It will help take the sting out of what is supposed to be another brutal Winter. I didn’t get charged for shipping, wondering if this is new?

    • There’s no charge for shipping for orders either over $50.00 or $55.00. I don’t remember the correct amount.

      • It did say $50 on the website, but I wasn’t sure if that applied to the sub box:)
