Fair Treasure Subscription Box Review – August 2015
FAIR Treasure is a monthly subscription service for women that sends you ethically sourced goods from around the globe each month.
FAIR Treasure kindly sent me this box to review. Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: FAIR Treasure
The Cost: $35 a month
The Products: Each box will contain at least $30 in retail value of ethically sourced treasures. Typically, your treasure box will contain 2-3 items.
Ships to: US
Fair Treasure includes a card with each item that gives you the background on the maker and the fair trade practices involved in producing the item.
Matr Boomie Tea Towel – Value $20
I couldn’t find this exact item online for sale, but I found a similar one to estimate the price. This mix of prints and colors is so fun, but a little too colorful for my kitchen – I think it will make a great gift though.
Fresh Flower Bud Vase – Value $12 (On sale for $6)
This bud vase is super tiny (it seems even small for a bud vase to me). I love the colors – it will go well with our tiny powder room!
Brass Rhino Wine Stopper – Value $10
This is my favorite item in the box – wine stoppers seem to be the one bar item I haven’t received from subscription boxes, and I actually was planning on buying some!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $36 (that’s counting my estimate and the sale price of the vase, so the retail value is likely higher). I like the items this month – it wasn’t my favorite box from Fair Treasure, but it’s a good one.
