The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. All of their products are vegan (and they tend to be natural, too). They also typically include a nice mix of full size and sample beauty items.
Vegan Cuts sends a single package to subscribers who get both the beauty and snack boxes. The beauty items are separated into a little bag. (If you do not get the snack box, I don’t think you get the little bag.)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Vegan Cuts Beauty Box
The Cost: $19.95
The Products: Each box contains a mix of 4-7 full and sample size cruelty-free beauty must-haves, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. All items are void of icky, toxic ingredients and animal byproducts, so you can feel beautiful inside and out.
Ships to: US for free, Canada for $8, and worldwide for $15.

Each Vegan Cuts Beauty Box comes with an information card detailing the items for that month. There was also a lot of promotional literature for the products this month so I just photographed it next to the products.
Everclen Facial Cleanser (2 oz.) – Value $4.10
I love that this is for sensitive skin. It’s also paraben free and fragrance free. I actually like getting skincare in boxes because I’m more likely to use it up – makeup goes so slowly for me.
Pacifica Super Powder Supernatural Eye Shadow Trio (0.10 oz) – Value $10 (?)
Well, this is a much more wearable set of shades than anything from the last two months. Although there’s actually not much pigment (see swatches below). It starts out as a cream but it has a powder finish, which I like. (I couldn’t find this exact item in the Pacifica store so I linked to a palette with what I believe is a similar formula.)
Osea Atmospheric Protection Cream x 2 – Value $4.50 (?)
These are tiny tubes and they’re not marked with a size so the value is something of a guess. I’ve been using this for two days now and I like the (light) fragrance and think it absorbs well. I should get a week or so out of each tube so I guess that is a reasonable amount for sampling. This includes seaweed extract which is supposed to help protect against sun damage.
The Wonder Seed Hand Cream in Spring Lavender (2.4 oz, FULL SIZE!) – Value $12.95
This has a nice lavender scent (authentic, not fake and cloying). I have been using it at night before bed and I like it so far. Hand cream is something I go through quickly because I am always washing my hands (cleaning up after pets) and my skin gets dry. This uses hemp seed oil and is free of parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances, and dyes!
Smart Ash Tooth Whitener + Detoxifier – Value $1 (?)
There’s not a whole lot of product in this container. It’s maybe enough for one or two uses? I’m a little afraid to try it because it came with a card that had a lot of warnings and directions for use. Has anyone tried it and do you recommend it?
Yes, all three shades of the eyeshadow are swatched on my arm. One of them is just VERY hard to see. On the other hand, if you are going for a subtle look, these might work. They all have a little bit of shimmer to them.
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $33 for this month’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box.. Some of those values are complete guesses, though, since there were no sizes given for the tooth whitener and the moisturizer. I, personally, was happy with this box – I like getting skincare and there were three skincare items here. However, the Pacifica is a brand repeat (third month in a row for Pacifica products, at least). I’m also happy that the eye makeup is not black or dark brown or deep blue; I’ll definitely get more use out of these colors. I appreciate that the value seems a little more spread out among the products as opposed to last month. Overall, I like the box, but it may not be for everyone, especially if you are looking for more makeup and less skincare.
