Tea Box Express Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - items 1

Chai Diaries Passion Fruit Oolong Tea – 4 oz, value: $12

This tea smells great, and I think it would taste good iced, too.

Effie’s Homemade All Natural Oatcakes – 7.2 oz, value: $6

I love that Tea Box Express adds snacks/crackers/etc to go with your teas. These oatakes are really delicious. The texture is perfect and they feel light and a little buttery.

Pineapple Tea Infuser – value: $5

I couldn’t find this exact infuser online anywhere, but I found a similar one on Amazon to base the price off of. I think it’s cute – pineapples are definitely trending this summer!

Kopali Fruit Organic Mango – 1.8 oz, value: $5.99?

These dried mango pieces are made with only mango, and they taste great! They have lots of flavor and are pretty sweet. I had to guess on the price here, because I can’t find them priced for sale anywhere online.

Stonewall Kitchen Red Raspberry Jam – 3.75, value: $3.50

This jam is awesome. Maybe one of my favorite things in the box (especially paired with the oatcakes)! I also love that it’s all natural.

The Verdict: The value for this month’s Tea Box Express comes out to $32.50. To me, that value is okay, especially because I know I like and will use everything in the box. I also really like the curation this month being all about fruits. Summertime makes me all about the produce!

What do you think about Tea Box Express?

There is currently a BOGO offer when you sign up for the box subscription. I loved the review for July’s box and wanted it. The website says subscriptions placed now through Aug. 5 are for Aug. boxes, but use “BOGO” in the code space and you will also get July’s box.

YAY! Thank you so much for the great review. I can hardly wait, as I have never had a tea subscription box. 🙂

Thanks Lilly for letting us know about the BOGO offer. I’ve been wanting to try this tea subscription for a while, and it made it worthwhile. I should be getting something from them tomorrow (hopefully July’s box). I’m so very excited!

This month was a huge win for me — I like and will use everything except the tea infuser (which I think is probably worth more around $10). Since I started subbing to Tea Box Express, I have gotten… 5? I’m pretty sure 5 different loose leaf tea infusers. That’s way more than I could ever use in my lifetime, especially since I already owned several before I subbed. Maybe a tea infuser could be something they include in the first box? But, hey, Tea Box Express – I could totally use a teaspoon to measure my tea with! A 2 tsp size would be perfect!

P.S. The tea this month is so incredibly wonderful… and it’s WHOLE LEAF TEA!!! Pretty awesome.
