SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - card

Each SprezzaBox comes with a product card, detailing the featured items and their values.

Arvo Watch – Value: $64.99

My husband, John, was really excited to see this in the box. He’s worn it to work the past two days in a row. He says it was very stiff, but the more he wore it, the better it felt. He loves it!

SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - pocket square SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - pocket square close up

Grunion Run Pocket Square – Value: $15.00

Very fancy! He doesn’t normally wear pocket squares with his suits (he wears a name plate in that spot) but I think he’s going to find a way to incorporate it on his next business trip.

SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - socks SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - sock information
Jimmy Lion Socks – Value: $14.00

I know this isn’t my box, but this is my favorite item this month. They look and feel super comfy and I like the way SprezzaBox put this whole ”opposites attract” polka dots style together. John likes them too.

SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - money clip SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - money clip 2

Dappered Man Money Clip – Value: $10.00

John and I both agree this is our least favorite item in the box. It’s plain. There’s no design or insignia in sight. He also brought up the fact that it’s flimsy metal. John says he wouldn’t trust it to hold any dollar bill. The box card says it’s for the weekend and special occasions and suggests you insert ids, credit cards and cash. (insert John’s side eye) I think he’ll be passing this on to a more adventurous friend. Moving on…

SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - Balm SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - Open Balm
Nova Scotia Fisherman Rescue Balm 0.35oz – Value: $4.00 (Full Size: 1oz – $11.95)

We’ve never heard of this brand before. John is enjoying this already and it made its way onto his nightstand. (Round of applause). I’m kind of upset that he likes it, you know I love body oil/balm anything!! I think he’s keeping it next to him for safe keeping. We had a good chuckle comparing our notes on the scent. Its hard to describe. John says the scent reminds him of boot shine. (That’s a good thing?!) And I say it smells similar to a log cabin inspired candle. It’s very soothing and it doesn’t leave his hands greasy, he says.

SprezzaBox Subscription Box Review – July 2015 - All Items

Verdict: John is very pleased with his first SprezzaBox. The retail value of $107.99 exceeds the cost and his initial expectations. He says that he‘d love to see more watches from Arvo and would love to add more bow ties to his collection. I would like to add Nova Scotia Fisherman products to that list.

Are you getting dapper with SprezzaBox? What was your favorite item this month?

  1. Mine just came in (super quickly!) and it was a bit different – the watch band was brown instead of black, the pocket square/handkerchief was navy with white polka dots and the socks were a two-tone blue stripe. Not bad, but my hubs did wish he got the black watch band instead…

  2. That is one heck of a value for a $28 box!! I love the accessories this month (mostly) and I know my guy would too. But he’s so profoundly picky that I’m not sure getting him a sub box would be a good idea.

  3. My teenage son has been bugging me to get him a fashion box. I actually think he might enjoy this one and it’s cheaper than most.

  4. I used the code “sprezza5” to get $5 off, which worked on a monthly box sub too! 🙂
