Tippy Taste Jewelry Subscription Box Review - June 2015 - BOX

Tippy Taste is a monthly jewelry subscription box dedicated to featuring modern and chic pieces. Subscribers have the choice to curate their own box from each month’s collection. Every month you will receive a newsletter for you to pick your favorites to be included in your box. They also have a “Gift A Box” option that allows you to make a one-time purchase of past boxes. Tippy Taste offers 2 different plans: a plan for 2 pieces a month, and a plan for 3 pieces a month.

This is a review of the 2-piece plan.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Marble Cuff Ring – value: $15

This ring is an interesting style. I love the marble accents, but gold isn’t my favorite. Fortunately, you don’t even see the metal when it’s on your finger!

Here’s how the ring looks when it’s on.

Crystal Accent Brass Bangle – value: $10

This piece is another interesting style. It’s not quite my taste, though, so this will be swapped or gifted.

Tippy Taste Jewelry Subscription Box Review - June 2015 - packaging

The Verdict: This was an okay Tippy Taste box for me, personally. Most of what makes it not so great for me, though, is that these aren’t items I would pick for myself (and I didn’t pick them; this box was just sent to us for review), but Tippy Taste does let subscribers choose items for their boxes so regular subscribers should have much more luck with that than I did. The quality and packaging of the items were both pretty nice, though, so that’s a plus.

What do you think about Tippy Taste?

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for them to send you the newsletter so you can select your items? I signed up but haven’t gotten anything yet

Did you get the newsletter yet? They usually send it right after you sign up, then after they send it on the first day of every month.

I got both pieces too and I love it! I love that I could pick the pieces that I want from each month collection. It gives me more excitement knowing what pieces I will get each month.

As a space nerd, I really want to buy that ring… it looks like earth and the moon on your hand!

Well, it seems the clear consensus is that we all want that awesome ring. I checked the other stuff they offer, though, and it does appear to be nearly all gold. I really just wear silver. Also, Haley is never interested in what I have to swap, so I can’t get the ring.

I love the idea, and the ring, but wish they had a sample of the jewelry that we could choose from, before we commit. It looks like they favor gold.

I normally like classic jewelry but I am loving that ring! It looks like a fun design.
