My Pretend Place Subscription Box Review – June 2015
A certain 7-year-old couldn’t wait to open his package from My Pretend Place this month!
My Pretend Place is a subscription service for children, offering both a quarterly subscription of costumes and theme-related items, and a monthly craft subscription. We received the quarterly costume package in May, which was a Pirate costume and swag! On the months you don’t receive your quarterly package, they still send out little goody packages to the kids! This is a review of their in-between / extras package for June.
This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Peg-leg Pete sent this letter to my son, asking him to make a treasure map! I usually ask him to read it to me, both for practice, and to get him excited and interested in playing with his costume gain. This one also slips in some knowledge of nautical lingo.
This month, My Pretend Place sent a blank topographical map and stickers to make the treasure map. My son loves stickers! It’s funny how sometimes little things like this will keep them busy for hours!
The verdict: My Pretend Place has a wonderful quarterly costume subscription box offering, and these monthly packages are sent on the “off” months to help keep the kids interested in their costume packages. Free of cost! How cool is that? I am very impressed with My Pretend Place overall, and my son loves it, too!
